“But it makes DC Universe’s existence feel entirely ancillary”

If Peter Parker and Alfred get to count as “dads”, then so does

I know it almost certainly won’t happen, but if they by some miracle actually got Christopher Eccleston to reprise the role I would buy every fucking thing they put out connected to this.

it would seem that the Ninth Doctor’s involvement in all this is probably going to be more from the book and comic side of things than anything else.

If we want to look at a silver lining to this, then just remember: the last season of Daredevil came out in October 2018, so when filming finally starts for the third Spider-Man film, it might already be two years since then, and thus they could use Matt Murdock as Peter Parker’s lawyer.

Very cool.

When I was in high school, I was part of a student-run news program. A colleague and I did theater and movie reviews. We had press credentials and everything. We got invited to go into DC and interview Jerry Bruckheimer and Tony Scott about their soon-to-be released movie, “Top Gun.”

Avatar is a great example of how, just because a series is all-ages and written for kids, doesn’t mean it has to be dumb. It’s smarter and better written than many shows for adults.
The fact the characters don’t say “fuck” or that the series doesn’t fill the fights with splurting blood doesn’t in any way diminish the

Seriously. This is has been comment after comment of whiny baby hilarity. And I haven’t even looked into the greys.

...it’s a kids’ show? It was always a kids’ show? You don’t have to like it, but it’s not bad just because it’s not made for you!

“Sadly, kids will love it and it will be with us for years.”

I never get tired of people being angry about a cute cartoon remaking a show called Thundercats.

With “The Last Jedi” and “The Force Awakens”, it seemed like right wing chuds took issue with the idea of non-white men being important or good at anything, and so much of the criticism seemed to work backward from that.

The two things can be true at the same time.

Two thoughts:

I thought the backlash to “The Rise of Skywalker” was more focused on the decisions made by the people writing and editing the film than anything.

If a “true Star Wars fan” made any Star Wars movie or TV show, 9/10 it would be 3 hours or lightsaber battles on top of X-Wings while battling TIE Fighters over the Death Star 4 with while a charming thief and a Wookie steal the plans for the DS4. Meanwhile, a beautiful princess is being held hostage by a bad dude

Quarantine sure has made someone cranky.

Salty much? Portable versions of these games will sell (I’ll be buying Borderlands and Bioshock), get over it.

I, for one, think it’s commendable that Batwoman murdered the guy that drove her sister insane by keeping her as slave for years!
