I think MINI should’ve released this car five years ago when the F56 generation came out. The original Morris Mini was a hit because it was a small, practical, efficient car for war-weary England, and the SE could’ve done it all over again as an electric car.

All polarized lenses do is reduce glare. They’re good for driving for that reason. Incidentally, they aren’t good for pilots because the glass covering the plane’s instruments is already polarized, so if you wear polarized sunglasses the instruments will appear opaque.

The flip side of your Android coin is that it’s not a guarantee that you will get security updates and bug fixes for even a year, because Google, the device manufacturer, and your carrier are all involved in that process. Apple maintains full control over updates, and supports devices for much longer than Android…
Not only does that give people only what they want, it also gives dealers and manufacturers a way to keep selling you stuff (optionally) down the line. No car should be obsolete because a convenience feature’s software is outdated.
