It’s not whataboutism when it’s on topic. Death threats are death threats, and I’m pointing to the answer why they’re still used by some - because there’s a problem when people/media differentiate that sometimes they’re bad and sometimes they turn a blind eye to them to further the wave of hate instead of saying

And half of those comments framed their word vomit as ‘criticism.’ Double standards are hilarious.

1) Check out this article on Kotaku:

Just wish it had like 3 more weeks in the oven. Feel like with like 2 more patches it’ll be more or less good to go. Which makes it such a shame that less than a months worth of very fixable problems put such a black mark on the launch.

But yeah. Basically as soon as I finished it, I started NG+ on Grandmaster with the

Wow Luke, you wrote a semi-competent article about a video game congrats! Didn’t know you had it in you pal.

I think the key to reading up on builds or whatever is to not get lost in the weeds. There are a lot of details about mechanics you may not need to actually understand to successfully use a build or some hard to get artifact you can skip if you aren’t going for the ultimate min/max and just want to get through your

I’ve spent 400h on this game, have yet to beat it, and honestly, reading about all these min/max meta stuff won’t lead you anywhere.

Yeah, same here. Tried Elden Ring and almost beat the first boss several times but failed.. just kind of broke me but it’s also the game I’ve thought about most in 2022, and 100% of that thinking was positive. So beautiful and well designed.

I’ve never played any of them, not because I don’t think I could finish them, but because I hate having my time wasted. Making me slog 10 minutes from a checkpoint to get to the boss only to have it one shot me for the nth time is not my idea of challenge, and they’re notorious for that kind of stuff.

As someone who started out like you but then eventually got the hang of these sorts of games, having managed to now finish every Dark Souls game and Bloodborn, I still find the difficulty to be a turnoff.

You are me.

This is what frustrates me.  I want a game that offers the same level of character building and world exploration.  But I want it without bosses that have tens of thousands of health that only take 100 damage per attack and expects me to have 8 perfectly timed dodges in the span on 1.5 seconds.

I have a similar problem, mainly coming down to time and patience. When I was a kid it took me an entire year to beat Castlevania III. There’s no doubt I cracked a hundred + attempts on certain sections. Certainly I played other games while working at it, but I had the time to devote to it.
Tons of elements of the

You’re not alone. Very similar experience. I knew going in what to expect but the non stop glowing praise and hype finally got me and I pulled the trigger and bought it. I gave it an honest 20+ hours and was less than thrilled. I was still running around the same opening area, bored as hell & grinding my ass off.

No he didn't, y'all just to used to reading it that way

Fuck, everyone is so defensive of her.
