When people tell me I should turn a hobby into a job, my response is generally something along the lines of, “I love -hobby- too much to turn it into a grind for a paycheck.”  That usually gets the point across well enough.

As a former employee who was robbed at GameStop, where they have that same policy, I get it. I’m sure as hell not going to pursue someone who ripped an Xbox 360 out of my hands because who the hell knows if he’s got a weapon on him.  It’s definitely not worth risking my life.

I think it’s that he’s getting into restricted areas before he pulls the brake.

Speaking of UI updates, the iOS version still isn’t formatted for X/XS/XS Max devices. I could’ve sworn that Apple made that a requirement for being listed on the App Store.

They’re also doing a side gig full time.  I sympathize with them, but they absolutely chose to drive full time.  They’re contractors so they should act like it.  If doing it isn’t profitable, do something else.

It’s a Gizmodo Group problem, not specifically a Lifehacker problem.
