Aerodynamically, 911s have been much closer to the old slant nose than the 964 for a long time. The headlight housing used to be near vertical, with the slant nose removing that bulk for added aero efficiency. The headlights barely protrude up past the hood now.

Crazy how moving the tail lights makes the rear go from somewhat proportional to Kim Kardashian huge.
