I’ve had two Razer Blackwidow keyboards. The first one was dead on arrival, with a bad W key. Obviously that won’t work for typing or gaming. The replacement keyboard died withing a year.
I know this is a thing for engines, but how does steam cleaning not wreck all the electronic bits?

Yes, it’s the latest GTI. It’s a mid-cycle update. The Digital Cockpit is only available on GTIs outside of the U.S. In the U.S. we can only get it on the Golf R (or Audis, of course).
