I never understood the hate for the Eos. It’s a nice basic but premium feeling convertible, and it could be had with the GTI engine and DSG. What’s not to like?

If she was living in the U.S. I’d agree that she has no excuse. I can absolutely see a piece of mail like that not making it across the ocean to her.

I agree with you, carmakers were too late to the maps game and should just offer Android Auto/Apple CarPlay integration. I got a touchscreen head unit for my GTI that doesn’t have navigation, but has CarPlay. I use Apple Maps, and honestly it’s just fine. The voice guidance through Siri is easy enough to understand…
