Ya know, I don't think many people would've notice if no one pointed this out. So Thanks BBC. Now everyone knows. And there WILL be gamers bent on destroying that town because it's name is in a video game. So thanks again, you jerks.
Excuse me, I'll get my popcorn and sit right here cause this comment section is going to be good. Or ludicrously bad depending on your POV
I want to shove this in the face of every advocate for games causing violence.
Fuck you with graphs, sir.
It's funny how quick Rupert Murdoch's (of FOX NEWS fame) bullshit tabloids blame EVERYTHING but the guns. Not really funny, but sad. The NRA has their hands so tightly wrapped around the GOP's nuts that blue-balls have turned purple. We're literally being told that it would be better to "monitor" all gameplay and all…
...and I thought that police and court system in MY country are run by idiots who lose paperwork and forget to press charges in certain cases.
Well, now that glass is half-full of vomit. I hope you're proud of yourself. :D
You really need to find a good group to get much out of Arma. Loads of the servers run a mod called Annex and Invade which basically equates to the server selecting missions from a set of randomised missions.
So the guy in charge of the division that releases the exact same games year after year is now the head of the company that releases the exact same games year after year? That seems about right.
Yeah, just went by what i read in the paper. Amazing how the papers can dig up this stuff and the police are completely useless. I would like to think if the police were on the ball they would have banned him, but then im sure he would have found a way around it. But then in the UK they stated anyone caught with a…
Wouldnt it be easier to tag gun owners instead of gamers? Or gamers that own guns? lol. Hilarious that guns are not the issue, its games. The guy that did these murders has criminal records for shooting out a cars wheels and shooting through the ceiling of his flat because his neighbor annoyed him. Yet still was…
I'm going with:
I wish I could find a clip of it, but they actually talked about the connection between violent video games and actual violence in the newest episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
I don't know all the details, but the last report I read said he got the weapon he used in the shooting legally.
My point is simply how ridiculous it is that Fox would even suggest the idea of monitoring gamers when they refuse to monitor people with the actual weapons.
Paper one-dollar bills really seems to be the thing that sets most of these mass murderers off.
As a Canadian, I have to ask... where can I get the American version of these games that are mind controlling people to go on shooting sprees? Because our versions don't seem to be having this effect up here.
