From Rob’s video you can learn that this beast is essentially 3 gear-connected 4-rotor engines, with each bank its own timing gear. So for starters, each bank is firing on its own timing with regards to the other banks.

I’d start a pizzeria called “Postal Pizza” to justify its purchase.

Tyson talks about how it never ran quite right due to ignition and fueling problems in Rob’s video.

They will convince themselves that the car cover shows it was cared-for and the extra wheels justify the slightly high price.

Yeah, not a fan of the wheels or color, but not a bad deal otherwise.

second generation Toyota Cressida wagon. https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/cars/ttac-throwback/ttac-throwback-why-you-should-buy-this-1984-toyota-cressida-wagon-44496821

Looks like a sunbaked but otherwise mighty fine little Toyota.

That wagon is a mid- late 80’s Toyota Cressida. It was the top of the range pre Lexus Toyota which had the same straight-6 engine as the Supra. They also had the cool “quirks and features” dual rear wipers on the tailgate.

The wagon looks ‘80's Nissan/Datsun/Toyota, the badge in the grill was very much their style, but I can’t place it.

Under normal conditions, I'd agree on the miles. Right now, I had recently seen a similar Transit Connect sell off a lot at $10k with over 200,000 miles. Bonkers world. Reluctant NP.

The 2.0 Duratec can last a long time. Mine has 150k and only a tiny slow oil seep at the main seal. I like these vans, but this still seems pricey. Never driven one, but I’d imagine on the highway they’d be a bit lethargic given their bulk and aero.

The roads are littered with them. Every plumber and handy man is blasting around the city in one of these.

Honestly they aren’t that great for passenger use. The interior quality is low budget mid-00's and the powertrain gets incredibly buzzy at 50+ mph; overall worse than the ‘05 Focus I owned. We got a 2012 for a work van for something like half this price just before Covid hit and it’s thoroughly “okay”, but I’d say

“I’ll paint any car for Ninety Nine Ninety Nine!”

Nah... this is a dealer that probably bought it cheap, did a quick cleaning/polishing job and now is looking to make a 100+% profit

Agreed. (I thought of adding more, but think you summed it up).

Screw off-roading. This is the car you need if you’re working in the mean city.

I forgot those existed then a few weeks back I saw one parked in my neighborhood all beat up and looking kind of awkward as some kind of small operation contractor's truck.  Wanted to snap a pic but the guy was standing by it, and didn't want to creep him out.

Assume all rental cars have tracking devices.

They explained that away that her apartment was somehow tied to her grant/study/job deal she had at the university.
