Camaro IROC-e SUV incoming.

My thought exactly, an electric "Camaro" targeting the Mustang Mach E.

You beat me to it, but here is the G7 Camaro in a spy shot:

Probably was running from a Demogor...I mean Silverado. I get those two confused frequently.

What will be promised

Got to be honest: this is the take. NP, all summer.

They should have been investigating his coworkers from jump. It is bizarre and reeks of a coverup that the cops are trying to play as though there is no foul play here.

Those are quite nice too, but don’t invalidate second generation Impulse and Storm. There’s literally nothing like them on sale today that combines a fun configuration with economical ownership.

This is the correct Impulse.

That’s a sweet, Japanese Sirocco!

The Giugiaro-designed teardrop Impulse/Piazza ranks as one of the best car designs ever and my appreciation of it only increases with time. (And it’s a GM T-platform Chevette chassis!)

by stealing someone else’s cultural identity? sounds pretty fucking stupid to me.

I remember my grandfather considering buying one of these in AWD right after they came out to replace a late-80s Pontiac Parisienne wagon. Before that, he had a couple of Suburbans, so he was looking to get back to a high-riding (relatively speaking), all-four-wheels-driven SUV. He instead went with a then-brand new

I rented one of these AWD versions years ago to drive from DIA to Laramie in a snowstorm. My first thought was that I would end up in a ditch and freeze to death. I was very impressed. If this one were AWD I’d be on it for an overlanding fun project. $4500! That’s mid-range mountain bike money these days.

So why exactly is an 18 year-old car with over 100k miles commanding $8500? There’s nothing at all special about this car.

In the world of VWs, they’ll probably get their price. It’s rare, yet parts are readily available. Would I buy it? No. But someone will.

I’m kind of amazed at the number of NPs in here. Dodge LaFemme-throwback paintjob aside, we are talking about $14,000 for a nearly 4-decade old GM from the era when GMs were so bad that they later ran full page ads ( https://www.motortrend.com/news/never-too-late-to-say-youre-sorry-gm-makes-commitment-to-american-peopl

For less money, you could buy a “broken in” C4, pay a pro to go over it and refresh everything, maybe bolt-on some go-fast parts, and have a much more fun vehicle.

It’s bloated, heavy, very thirsty, underpowered, was excessive for its time, and other than nostalgia and its being an oversized convertible, this whale has nothing going for it. It also has 98,000 miles on a vehicle from when most American iron was worn out at 100,000. It’s time has come and gone. It would be fun to

I can’t remember where I read it, but someone said something like “A GM car will run badly longer than most cars will run at all.” An S-10 is one of these, you couldn’t kill it if you tried. Still, ND for a salvage title.
