My first car was a ‘84 Nissan Sentra stripper which is definitely not a tuner car...didn’t stop me (Nismo Header, Dual side drafts, Tokicos/springs/sways, etc...)

“The mileage is shown as 75,798, however, the car has a five-barrel odometer so perhaps that’s gone ‘round the horn at least once.”
I have a binder clip on my shifter bag to hold the sunglasses case (mask, extra key, 2nd job elevator pass), so I am not against them as a handy tool!
No one understands fanatics. Take a look at the U.S.’s political scene.
Well, they do look like a cartoon. You’ve got that part right.
Consumer Reports did a really interesting article about this recently. The fact that the Ram has such a large blind spot despite being the most car-like of the full-size pickups really makes you think.
Great for bringing home baby bumblebees.
You say that like it’s a bad thing. I think they are both adorkable.
This is by far the nicest Chinook I’ve seen, so definitely preservation points. You can definitely find one cheaper, but I’m not sure you can find one this nice. I went NP, but I suppose the big question is whether it ticks the boxes for what you need out of a camper, versus a newer model that might have some more…
I do like wagons, but not these wee ones. If you really need a wagon, this isn’t big enough.
Note that Saturn themselves preferred to call this car “a sedan with a backpack” rather than a “wagon”
I think you are looking at it wrong. This was a wagon that weighed just 90 lbs more than the sedan and gave you more utility than the trunk and handled damn near the same. To me an actual previous owner of a SW2 it was a great combo.
There is a mini-documentary about the whole Saturn story.
Good point, I can’t imagine how inefficient the suspension design is to be this bad. (Or zero re-engineering for a wagon bodystyle is more like it).
Or if you’re talking about the feeling of a fist in your face when a CEL pops as you drive off the lot.
If current trend continues, it’d soon be the Anglo-Korean Won.
The anglo-peso?
Totally explains the divot.
Not a horrible vehicle, not a horrible price. NP
Chop, blend, burn the bodies.
