There are tons of stories following cops and arresting street racers. Seeing what pushes the other side of doing it is a lot less covered and this is why this kind of stuff is interesting, on the same level as Vice covering white supremacist rallies from the white supremacist side.

Why would you want to put anyone down? The goal is not to put people down, the goal is sort of share their experience, maybe trying to understand why they do that... When shows are done for TV about famous murderers, the goal is not to put them down, the goal is to understand why they do that by looking at their lives

If for some reasons he enjoys stealing cars and feels like sharing his passion for it, why not?? I’d be curious to read about someone who steals cars, either for a living or for fun... How he got into it, why, and what he feels about what he does. Will reading him trying to explain why he steals cars change your mind

Here we go again... How about letting whoever writes write whatever the fuck he wants?? One writer wants to condemn street drifting or racing? Let him do! Another likes it? Let him write why! How about a more mitigated reaction like Raphael’s because we all know that going sideways in a car is fun albeit illegal on

Well if you find the time... :)

Being french, I’ll NEVER be able to look at this car without smiling... NEVER. I still have a hard time getting over the MR2 so...

I am born in a household with an Alpine A110 1600SC... Imagine that as a two year old... My father still owns it today.

For cool car stuff you could fly to Japan and join me here :)

Bad timing... In a year she can do porn or get herself killed in Irak, but right now she’s not mature enough to joke with some old guy who just acted opposite of what women groupies in motorsports ask driver to do (tramp stamp or boob signatures)... She clearly looks traumatized by the experience and definitely needed

Nah, anywhere but the UK despise it... Making an old British car reliable (Tr7, Interceptor, random MG...etc) usually just means ditching the entire electrical system and replacing it with anything else.

Lucas. Electrics.

Hahaha I’ve exported that blue Honda Beat from Japan myself :)

Unfortunately I have never tried a 660cc Dangan... Though, compared to similar 660cc turbocharged keis, it felt a little less powerful... not by much, but still noticeable.

His gearing is extremely weird... If it’s a 5-speed, it’s a dogleg one with really short 3rd and 4th...

Not for Mitsubishi no... Only Suzuki played with that, with cars having 64hp.... at the wheels ;)

Now playing

Again man... why don’t you fly here? Driving those things has to be done on proper roads, a millimeter away from the rev limiter all the way to the top of the mountain :)

Then you better plan ahead because 90% of the days on the ring are touristenfahrten. If not, it must be winter and it’s closed or a manufacturer is testing cars... sometimes groups rent the road which then transforms into a racetrack.

It’s not a racetrack... it’s a public road. You don’t wear a helmet on a public road.

Great article but I’m not sure I’d call the idlers “grassroot” racing... It’s one of the most expensive amateur racing series there is... All that while racing on the most expensive and prestigious tracks in Japan. The Car Guys are part of it and considering their garage, it tells a lot about the financial means of

That is awesome.... Just perfect.
