I must be the only RPG fan who hasn’t played popular games like FFVII and Skyrim. I’ve played dozens of RPGs across Elder Scrolls, Dragon quest, Final Fantasy, Tales, Xeno, and other series, but there are so many that I don’t get to everything! I tend not to gravitate to the most popular games.

Now, I want a listical with this, neopets, SpaceJam and 17 other services that are shockingly still online. Then I want a quiz to tell me which one I am.

PS4 is more like 5% looking at North American sales vs population. Dividing population by 2.5 to discuss families does make it more like 12%. Your point is good, I'm just arguing that the numbers make it even better.

I think there are a lot of folks that love games and own just a Switch and are excited to see the ports. I love games like Skyrim but still haven’t played it yet because I have limited time. The first time I play it may be on the switch, and I don’t think I’m alone even though I may be scoffed at by most folks who

I would more readily compare LG with Motorola, especially in the eyes of folks walking into a store like Verizon looking for some brand familiarity. A lot of people remember the days of Motorola and LG flip phones and see them as recognizable older brands.

I definitely know the feeling the guy is talking about because of lifestyle creep... it’s very easy to make mostly smart choices and still end up living right up to your means. The problem is we tend to not make certain sacrifices unless we must, so it’s natural to end up making choices that consume your available

Not one comment about the irony that one of the games is actually called Necromancer? New life... on a dead console... anybody... <sigh>

This should be tagged Nintendo... I always check the Nintendo tag first, then full Kotaku when I have time.

... And it’s easier for somewhat tedious gameplay to fill the little gaps in our lives when the console is portable, just like we do with phones. Also you can watch TV while doing tedious stuff...

Just stopped in to say yay Rogue Galaxy! That game was fantastic and underappreciated!

The offending picture still shows up in my mobile chrome browser list of articles I might be interested in (the new empty tab page)... maybe Google cached the image, but if not, you might consider removing it from the server....

This is a good place to remind everyone of Lindsey Stirling’s Iwata Tribute “We Are Giants”:

There are LOTS of people who haven’t played Skyrim or Stardew Valley or whatever else. I consider gaming my primary hobby and loved Morrowind and Oblivion on PC, but I still haven’t had time for Skyrim. I also haven’t done a thing for my PC hardware in 7 years so it might not even run. There’s also a lot of

Man that shrine with the freakin’ movable laser... I figured out a way using bombs, stasis, and I think a shield jump before a friend told me I had cheated and should have just moved the laser with magnesis... I was at least glad I found a solution myself before consulting anyone. BOTW has been one of my favorite

When comparing Netflix to say Amazon Prime, one could argue that it is at least partly the streaming service’s responsibility to attract content providers to their service as opposed to some other service. But yeah, I’m not sure anyone can blame Netflix for not being so attractive that CBS would’ve never tried to

I completely agree. I wish they’d take the opportunity for variety in art direction and costume design and not do so much skimpy anime. The other Xeno games have all had similarly ridiculous costumes. I get that people like that, but it makes me not respect the game as a cohesive work of art when aspects like

I thought Disgaea 5 was is the same long JRPG category, though a bit more obscure / less approachable.

And was available in Mario 3 if you entered battle with the other player right? And maybe in that Virtual Boy game...

For me the lack of need for pro controller is exactly why I may never buy one. I’ve yet to even be able to justify the expense of a second game and I’m done with Zelda. I got too used to buying old games for 10-20 so now full priced games are too hard to stomach. A $70 controller is just insane in my head when I could
