It’s too expensive. Period. Nothing else matters. Until it is cheaper, it is irrelevant.

Right-- when something drops all at once, the “cultural conversation” tends to also be one hot burst.  You either binge it all and talk about it ALL RIGHT NOW, or watch it later and then no one is talking about it.  Weekly episodes gives that conversation a chance to grow and breathe.

True, you don’t HAVE to binge it. But the point is that by dropping weekly (or at some rate), the show builds momentum and seems to get more notice. That is generally good for the health of the show. And as a viewer, even though I don’t have to binge it, all the spoilers are out there from the start.

That said, if you

These days, real-world Republicans are increasingly indistinguishable from parodies.

Well then take a gander at her left winger if the right one bothers you so much. I mean it's a little strange because usually they're a pair but whatever floats your boat.

Played the demo and it’s just a bog standard platformer, nothing special and definitely not worth the full price. Should have been a budget game.

John Brown’s raid on Harpers Ferry October 17th, 1859

I don’t care who wins this fight, but I would like to point out that you appear to be overconfident in your prediction. You mentioned that Tyson last fought in 2005. He lost that fight, against an unremarkable fighter, when he quit after six rounds. I very much doubt that he’s better than he was nineteen years ago.

GoT is the best game I have played in a long time. The sword combat is the cleanest, most fluid I have ever experienced in a game and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Its also the only PS game I have platinumed by just playing the game. It was so good that I wanted to explore every inch and got 100% completion on

That assumes that Bitcoin maintains some sort of price point which just...has no reason to happen. It could easily be 30k in a month and then everybody who buys in today has reduced their net worth.

For Bitcoin to “ignore inflation” its own gains on exchanges would have to maintain pace with....DING DING DING....inflati

I would love if the remake was made similar to Dragon Quest XI, both in graphics and the option to play it in 2D

Yeah this is me. Like, the absolutely bonkers level of production and creativity in the original (and the giant influence it’s had on... well everything sci-fi even to this day) is unmistakable. But 2049 is definitely a more enjoyable film to me. And that’s fine! It can’t exist without the world that BR made for it

Yeah, as I said in my own post, I think that a lot of what Blade Runner did is so groundbreaking that it’s an absolute masterpiece, but in terms of telling a compelling story about characters with interesting emotional arcs, I think that 2049 is the better movie. The original gets by on vibes a lot.

BR2049 had Jared Leto in it and the movie didn’t suck and Jared Leto didn’t suck (for that one brief moment). I don’t know how Denis can do the impossible and walk away with doubts.

Also how is the Wii title confusing?

That comment missing satire in a thread about people not understanding satire is too subtle to be good satire.

Pretty sure that person is being sarcastic

Seriously, the Bugs threw asteroids at Earth”

“I’ve seen it described as sci-fi, but I don’t see it as sci-fi at all. There’s no ‘sci’ in it, for a start,”

I mean, if I had a tadpole in my head and only a few days left, I certainly would want to have as much sexy time as I could get!
