Well then take a gander at her left winger if the right one bothers you so much. I mean it's a little strange because usually they're a pair but whatever floats your boat.

Played the demo and it’s just a bog standard platformer, nothing special and definitely not worth the full price. Should have been a budget game.
I don’t care who wins this fight, but I would like to point out that you appear to be overconfident in your prediction. You mentioned that Tyson last fought in 2005. He lost that fight, against an unremarkable fighter, when he quit after six rounds. I very much doubt that he’s better than he was nineteen years ago.
GoT is the best game I have played in a long time. The sword combat is the cleanest, most fluid I have ever experienced in a game and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Its also the only PS game I have platinumed by just playing the game. It was so good that I wanted to explore every inch and got 100% completion on…
I would love if the remake was made similar to Dragon Quest XI, both in graphics and the option to play it in 2D
Also how is the Wii title confusing?
That comment missing satire in a thread about people not understanding satire is too subtle to be good satire.
Pretty sure that person is being sarcastic
“Seriously, the Bugs threw asteroids at Earth”
That’s because it’s presented as an in-universe propaganda film made by that very totally-not-evil regime.
That’s still satire. What you’re thinking of is Parody, much like Blazing Saddles or Life of Brian. Verhoeven is showing how utterly absurd this ‘ideal’ military government is, and throwing in just enough overt references to historical Fascism to make his point clear. It’s in the same style as Robocop, which does not…
I have seen some twitter discourse about this and FUN FACT: either people get this movie, or they’re just cool with fascism and don’t realize that’s what they’ve been conned into understanding as a good way for the world to work.
I think there’s a large number of people who recognize that a thing is an over-the-top satire of fascism, but also hide behind it and lean into the absurdity of it to hide the fact that they kind of agree with the over-the-top fascists. Like the Warhammer 40K fans who recognize that it’s not serious, but will also…
This thread is pretty much my view, but it is interesting the way this movie comes up somewhat frequently and starts a “you don’t understand” discourse.
I definitely didnt appreciate it as a kid cause I took it as a face value. Verhoeven taking a shit on the book’s politics and jingoism in general makes it seven shades of brilliant, I love it.
It’s important to note, I think, that it’s not parody. Spaceballs is a work of parody - it has affection for its source material while poking fun at its inherent ridiculousness. Starship Troopers, as a genre piece, is exactly what it says on the tin. It is an over-the-top, absurd sci-fi action flick, it is not…
Do you think that the writers actually have any control over Kotaku technical limitations? Or that a game journalist shouldn’t talk about technical issues with the game he’s reviewing? This rationale makes no sense to me.
I gotta be honest, I know it’s a blog and all, but I wish they’d cut the generational slang
I mean, if I had a tadpole in my head and only a few days left, I certainly would want to have as much sexy time as I could get!
you don’t HAVE to do everything on your only playthrough
