I thought the point was that anonymity wasn’t granted for reporting on any “doings,” just catty Beltway gossip. If there was any value to learning that a random staffer didn’t like AOC, then there’d be an argument for granting anonymity to the source. 

Because running a blackmail scheme is much less plausible. I literally explained that in the post you’re responding to. 

Read the comments, it appears at least half the people don’t understand this either. “Let Darwinism sort this out” means they don’t get that it’s not the dumbass streamers that people are worried about, it’s the people they’re crashing into.
