I don’t bitch about being in a two-party system. More parties just means more extremism and even fewer people ultimately getting what they want. Forming coalitions is, in general, a good thing.

How does leaving the party help reform the party? The problem right now is that AOC’s coalition isn’t big enough. Jumping ship will only exacerbate that problem.

In the end, you are probably right: someone in the DoJ has some enormous leverage on Pelosi.

So it’s one thing that to see a maliciously ignorant mega-narcissist in his twilight years behave like this.

And Lil’ Ben gets funded by hard-right advocacy organizations because he’s an outspoken racist fascist with a large Twitter following. So what’s his beef exactly?

That’s definitely part of it, and is the result of the rope-a-dope of Google and Facebook offering a new medium for news providers that provided access to millions of new eyeballs. People got used to news being “free,” and it’s a lot harder to go from “free” to “now this costs money” than the other way around.

I graduated with the same in 2008. I also have a full-time journalism job; I am one of the lucky ones. That graph is still a visual kick in the nuts, though, and demonstrates why looking at what other opportunities are out there is so depressing.

What’s so strange is her fear is that pursuing impeachment will look politically motivated (as if that’s a bad thing), while seemingly missing the glaring fact that NOT pursuing impeachment also looks to be clearly politically motivated.

Trump is already crowing about how he’s been totally exonerated, and the longer the Dems go without testing that assertion, the more it sinks in and becomes truth in the public eye. That’s the whole point of their propaganda blitz, starting with Barr’s deeply deceitful rollout of the Mueller report.

I believe they said that all controllers compatible with the Switch will also work with the Switch Lite.

I said this in the post about his creepy mansion. He’s definitely murdering some of these girls.

By refusing to impeach Trump, Pelosi has essentially absolved him of guilt related to the Mueller inquiries. For the multitudes of people who barely pay attention to politics (but do vote), if even the Democrats don’t think he did anything illegal / impeachable, then he *must* be innocent. She’s given him far more

That’s a silly theory, though. If a handful of Senate Democrats refused to vote to convict such a cartoonishly corrupt and incompetent president, they’d be destroyed politically (and historically).

It means he’s a moron that is comfortable with lying and worse to get his way.

What do you mean it doesn’t matter where it leads? If the narrative only singles out the Democrats that collaborated with Epstein, then the complicit Republicans will get away with it. And that’s ignoring the political aspect of this, which is very important as well.

Yet another Tomato account:

Is there a source beyond Vicky Ward that can verify that he ran afoul of the SEC and was forced out at Bear Stearns? I’m not doubting her reporting, but it’d be helpful if there was more than one source on it.

z808z and other redhat propagandists are running hard with Conway’s assertions regarding Trump’s relationship with Epstein. It appears they’ve settled on “They weren’t really friends and Trump distanced himself once he discovered Epstein was a creep,” along with “Trump was playing Epstein so they could bust him.” Expec

If you’re referring to Ramsey, he’s repeating the implication that Trump “distanced himself” from Epstein before Epstein began his child sex ring, like the other propagandists. And his other posts on other topics give away his motivations.

I’m dismissing the worst ones, but here’s another with some especially vile commentary about how Epstein is really all about dem Dems:
