I agree with both of your points, but I think the first is especially accurate.

You would need your famous wealthy mom to write the glowing op-ed of your prospective boss. For all of Tiger Mom’s torture and abuse, it still took some old-fashioned corrupt back-rubbing on her part to get her kid that plum job.

I saw the original Necrodancer is available on Switch right now for $4. I might pick it up to see if I like the gameplay (I have not played it and I share your uncertainty) before buying this for whatever multiple of that Nintendo will charge.

Actually they’re showing their asses because A. their supporters love it when they act like smug, condescending assholes, and B. right-wing propaganda will pick up these clips of them “owning the libz” and they contribute to the overall false narrative of that “ownage.”

“I hope people that support slapping fascists develop fatal rectal cancer.” — your shitty, hypocritical post, condensed.

I’m a journalist that has attended too many press conferences. Many, many journalists are also guilty of asking “questions” that are much more about how smart and knowledgeable the journalist is than trying to gather any insight from the actual subject. Cynically blaming the willingness of some to do good as enabling of others to do bad cuts way too close to Objectivism.

I’m confident that actors using Russian accents to speak English words would have been far more distracting than what they did, which was simply use plain English to avoid the need for subtitles and better convey the meaning and emotion of the dialogue to its predominantly English-speaking audience.

Game of Thrones had a sequence where Cersei sent soldiers out to murder every baby and child suspected of being one of Robert’s bastards.

Because that concept didn’t need taken down since it was never advanced and attacking a strawman is something that somebody defending this murder would do.

Seems like the time to call bullshit on a study that predicts X will happen by the end of the century would be the end of the century.

I think he might be the Tomato.
