My understanding is that WaPo gave the White House a heads-up on their story that revealed her name. This is common practice, and they were likely seeking a comment from the White House.

Cheating in 2004 too, most likely. (And let’s be honest, they probably tried in 2008 and 2012, too, it just didn’t work. Remember how shocked Karl Rove was on election night 2012 when Ohio was called for Obama?)

Edit: Never mind, I think I misunderstood.

The only disappointment left concerning Susan Collins is that so many people — read: the f’ing DC media — still fall for her act.

Like everything with conservatives, they’ll only care about this injustice if it affects them or one of the few people they care about. Then they’ll scream bloody murder at the inhumanity of it all. But so long as it’s some liberal slut trying to besmirch a fine upstanding man of the conservative community, they’ll

If they make a movie about Joseph McCarthy he should be played by Ted Cruz.

My posts also got bombarded by grays doing their best imitation of Ben’s aggressive bad-faith BS routine. The most popular seems to be the “Just post one of Ben’s alleged lies!” followed by the “This is why Trump won” and “This proves that Ben is winning” variations.

The scenarios people are able to cook up to gripe about things are fascinating.

If you’re able to go on vacation for more than seven days, in a place without wifi, no less, you can survive a few days without a few NES games on your Switch. What a weirdly specific “problem.”

Greed? They are for-profit publicly traded companies. They literally exist to make as much money as possible.

Ice Hockey online play alone is worth $20. Everything else is gravy.

It’s $20 for an entire year. Why wouldn’t you pay for this?

They have Google alerts set up for “Shapiro” and “fascist,” and like Shapiro himself, breathlessly defending both with smarmy sarcasm and rapid-fire fallacies is the only way they can get hard.

He’s articulate and he talks fast and knows all the dog whistles. To many on the right, that means he has one of dem good brains.

Shapiro’s signature move is the Gish Gallop, where he rapidly fires off a bunch of lies, half-truths and out-of-context “facts” so that his opponent can’t possibly take enough time to rebut everything. He does this over and over and over, and it makes him looks super smart to his mouth-breathing fanbase of white

It feel like “All the Small Things” is barely a cover for Weezer. If they’d released it back in the day, it would have fit right in with the rest of their catalogue.

It’s more pathetic to lick rich people’s boots anonymously on a message board where they can’t even reward you for your degrading work.

Conservatives in this country have pretty much spent the past few years wiping their ass with the idea of good faith, spewing out and out lies ...

I’m currently a Pixel owner and can vouch for this. The Pixel is a much better experience than what Samsung offers, and seems to age better as well.

You’re wrong. You don’t seem to understand his point about the marginal utility of money.
