Almost every self-described “centrist” or “moderate” I’ve met, either in real life or online, is someone that actively detests paying attention to politics, someone attempting to claim the moral high ground with lazy “both sides” observations, and or simply a dishonest conservative.

They haven’t. He’s projecting, so he can continue justifying voting for Republicans that actively and enthusiastically try to remove the voting rights of non-Republicans.

I was gonna say, the Republicans that these “centrists” refuse to rule out voting for are the ones actively trying to suppress the right to vote of people that don’t support them. Pretending that those criticizing said “centrists” are the ones attempting to suppress voting kind of gives away the game.

Sadly, that timeline sucks too, because while Hillary defeats Trump and takes the White House, Republicans still take Congress and make their treatment of Obama look comparatively like a day at the spa

I live in NYC. Even here, $100k is a good living and would be a significant upgrade in salary for most residents.

It’s conditional. Is the presumptive king a conservative? Then he should be above the law. A liberal king, however, he would be very strongly against.

I’m an acquaintance of a production tech that works on Fox & Friends. He’s a good guy — not terribly political, but definitely not a redhat. We’ve had the talk, he’s conflicted about working there but it pays pretty good and getting a decent new job is hard.

Based on the few performances of his I’ve seen on YouTube — entirely from links contained within updates to his crimes, like this story — he barely rhymes in his songs. In his “hit,” Gummo, which never actually uses the word “Gummo,” most of the rhyming is him repeating the N-word at the end of every lyric.

She’s mentally ill. This is borderline exploitation by her son and YouTube.

If someone is in favor of building the wall, they are not and never were a moderate.

I think the most direct, simple answer is that she’s simply another rich kid that decided to be the best gossipmonger among other rich gossipmongers. She’s succeeded wildly at that.

I actually waded throught the responses to her tweet today in which she asserted that it “appears” that there’s only one Cohen-Trump tape, which wasn’t reported in her NYT story and was hilariously quickly debunked.

No, they are absolutely not “journalistically” equal. You have a very warped view of how journalism works. Journalists are not transcription services. And no, simply slapping the label “opinion” on something does not magically grant it legitimacy and equality with well-reasoned and fact-based opinion pieces, or give

That’s not what “Objectivism” is.

Should the Washington Post publish an opinion that says Ethnic Group X should be confined to ghettos and forced to carry papers and wear visual indentifiers? If not, why not?

No, filtering out BS and bad information and arguments isn’t fascism, it’s editing, and it’s crucial to running a responsible and valid journalism operation. This false idea that all opinions are of equal value is pushed by fascists, who profit when truth is obscured by noise, which breeds mistrust and cynicism.

Looking back, I kind of wish the media had paid more attention to the vile filth being spewed by Rush Limbaugh and other right-wing hosts on the radio. Those daily Three Hours Hate sessions were the vanguard of the modern right-wing propaganda network, and nearly all of that has been mainstreamed over the last couple

Common denominator there is Kings more than KU.

There’s also a real risk that a player doesn’t really develop much more and gets exposed as a middling prospect. Ben was already a 20-year-old freshman after sitting a year at KU as well. As a lottery pick, he absolutely had to go when he did, as it’s extremely unlikely another year in college would have improved his

Hey, be fair. It’s also full of backward hat-wearing sunburned frat boys that are about a decade away from becoming everyone’s racist, obese, drunk uncle.
