Why can’t they just film the Broadway production? Use several cameras and angles, then get the actors to touch up some vocals. It would require almost no development/planning. I’d pay a lot more than the usual movie ticket price to see that, and I bet Disney could make a huge profit. Bring Broadway to the faraway…

I saw the play. I was pretty impressed woth how they made the animals “work,” it was really creative - I doubt they gonthat route for the movie.

The third Aladdin was strangely good

So far, Cinderella and the Jungle Book have been a million and a half times better than any of those shitty sequels (the Lion King II being a notable exception).
