The amount of outright lying exposed by cops since the invention of the bodycam is truly startling. They know they are being recorded, and yet still lie constantly and commit crimes, to the point that basically anything before, say 2010 or thereabouts, we should assume all the cops lied all the time, about everything.

To cover up his tracks, the 28-year-old told investigators he had been looking at texts sent by colleagues”

Why isn't he facing criminal charges? Oh right, badge = license to kill

Yeah, looks like that $15k of hydrogen is good for about 30k miles, so call it 3 years of commuting. If you assume the Mirai is completely worthless at the end of those 3 years, that’s still only $417/mo, which is a little cheaper than the current lease on a Toyota Crown, and would be nearly your only expenses for

Yup. Right here in this picture we’ve got a grandson of nazis and son of apartheidists, who has openly endorsed the AFD (German neo-nazis), courted the alt-right and hate groups, gifted Twitter to them as an open platform, and is talking about “securing the future of human civilization” right as he’s doing the

I’m just going to leave this here. He has clearly he told us who he really is, all in one photo. He also did this solute several times!

Or call people that are rescuing children “pedos”.

No company is completely innocent (just look at all the banks accused of fraud or robbing their own customers). But these days I will settle for the companies whose CEOs aren’t making “awkward hand gestures” during public appearances.

Trump “renegotiated” NAFTA back in 2017. It was essentially the exact same deal that was already in place but allowed him to claim victory.

Not that General Motors is a innocent lil’ angel of a company... but I’m pretty glad we chose to get an Equinox EV instead of a Tesla. In fact- I’d say Elon just helped GM and probably anyone else who makes an EV a lot.

The costs are such that automakers will do nothing but wait out the clock until someone less-idiotic is in the White House. It’ll be at most four more years, and their revenues aren’t such that it makes sense to even think about building new plants in the US. First, because the cost would likely never be recouped.

I got my 2022 Toyota Tacoma brand new almost three years ago, and I still get aggravated by the radio control on the steering wheel - volume is left-right and channel/track is up-down. I’m pretty much used to it now, until I spend a little time driving a different car that has volume up-down as it should be (and has

Stop trying to apply logic to Trumpism.  They’re mutually exclusive terms.

And I appreciate the air-quotes on “objective” there because lately the Right thinks that means their lies need to be given equal time with the truth. And it’s not our fault Trump can’t open his mouth without lying.

Consider this your fire academy test. It’s kinda pass-fail.”

Even the minister who said the prayer at the inauguration has launched a crypto coin, $LORENZO. The money changers really have taken over the temple.

Indeed. The unfortunate part is this would fly 20,000 ft. over the head of 80% of the American public.

That Lincoln suggestion is cold blooded.  I second it.

At best, it’s completely forgettable. I always thought this was such a huge miss for Pontiac. I find it hard to believe somebody couldn’t have come up with a design that at least hinted back to the original without looking completely derivative. Or just something that looked good, period.

These haven’t gotten any better looking over the last couple decades. The mind knows the performance is there but looking like an oversized Cavalier does it no favors. I’ll take my $18K and go shopping for a used Hemi Challenger instead, so I can turn around when I leave it and admire it rather that tolerate it.
