No going to live in that tin can.”

I can’t imagine seeing these or a Model X and taking the Model X.

I’m obviously a sample size of 1, but not too long ago, I took a gander at their configurator and just closed the tab as soon as I saw how many trim options there were.

Love the new graphics for the touchscreen.

Wait for the R2S and the R3 for “more affordable” versions.

I agree! It is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. We need more cars with fun driving dynamics within legal speed limits. Hot hatches had a point. They were fun. Minis have never been about 0-60 or top speed fun. 0-60 was a thing for big motored behemoths that could not handle cornering or stopping

146 in a Neon sounds terrifying.

My Mom thought it didn’t run in 2002 and decided to use it as a paint canvas, but after 22 years it started right up and ran great!!”

Is it me or does the result look kind of...blotchy? The camera doesn’t linger long enough in the “final reveal” segment to get a really good look. I guess if the gold plating faithfully mimics the base material, I suppose there’s no way to get a perfectly even finish, but it kind of ruins the effect for me.

With Chinese EVs advancing so quickly I’m almost certain Elon knows Tesla is cooked. China is a huge source of their revenue and Tesla has done nothing to keep up. He’s probably trying one last huge stock grab so he can remain nice and wealthy after the Tesla slow motion collapse.

Ford Focus, is that you?

Take away the badge and you couldn’t convince me that you’d know it was a BMW. It’s a weird looking machine and I don’t like it.

Bullish investors justify Tesla’s valuation with a long list of reasons, pointing to its technology and fervent fan base

Musk is actively diverting resources to other entities and screaming about needing to be “gifted” more shares to hold his interest.

I like these, but not this one. The color is blah, and even if they’re correct, those wheels would need to be replaced. They look like they’re off a Ford Escort ZX2.

I mean, I’ve seen people remove parts of emissions controls (like EGR) to improve reliability (ie carbon buildup) but the Pep Boys special on the interior and that schnoz, eww. I mean, you’re in Florida too, so we don’t have to worry about inspections but I’d have to spend a pretty penny to make it look respectable

So. Much. Beige.

It’s an auto so it’s not all that special when it comes to F31s, the G80 style bumper is horrid, it’s tuned and has emissions equipment deleted so it won’t pass smog. And for 25k you can easily get a 335 or 340i with a manual. Those are much more enjoyable cars although you’ll have to live without the estate car

Deleting the EGR is a great way to find yourself failing smog and inspection in California. Secondly- I would not buy anything with a diesel these days. ESPECIALLY anything newer like this. Most of the benefits of diesel are eliminated by the complicated exhaust systems, the DEF fluid system and the amount of carbon

Doing this destructive shit for clicks...I’m so over it and I wish it wasn’t possible for someone to earn a living this way.
