The guy loves ‘em. Nothing wrong with that. I wish more people were that passionate!

The Ford Mustang. We’ve either owned one or known someone who has

Bullshit. Elon Musk is why I don’t own a Tesla. And I’m certain I’m not alone.

Of all the things to complain about, this is pretty much a non-issue. Steering effort is always highest at a stop since the tires are 100% scrubbing. It’s not a good way to see the response from any system. Even a slight roll would probably make it much less noticeable

There is an old oft repeated story in racing. The car was running better than ever,  then it blew up.

Can’t fix shitty American behaviors.

I’ve been using “MAGA Moron” to describe those Donald-groveling idiots, but I have to admit that “MAGA CHUD” has a certain ring to it.  Well played.

Call me crazy, but there’s something of a black sheep syndrome with the Supra but not with the Toyobaru (gt86/gr86) twins. Those are cross platform sports cars, but I don’t feel like they get the same kind of hate the SupraSnitzel gets. maybe its because they’re both JDM, maybe because they’re much more affordable.

Typical MAGA CHUD response. “I’m breaking the law and they want to prosecute me for it. It’s harrassment!”

Naw. Not interesting. Just an old car. Too old to daily drive, too boring to take to shows and sit around answering questions about. What would you say? “Yeah, it was converted from FI to carburetor, cost 10 horsepower….” as people walk away nodding.

Meh, I’m more sorry for the Z4, I think I recently read from C&D that it too was ending production. It was way better looking.

That sucks, but is hardly surprising. I never cared about the BMW pedigree but wasn’t crazy about the looks when it first came out. I’ve warmed up to them a lot, and I think color choice really helps for reconciling their appearance. It launched at a bad time, the new economy hasn’t been kind to frivolous purchases,

There’s only been one good looking Supra, the styling of the MkV has effectively nothing to do with whether it’s a real Supra or not.

What’s better: A Supra with some German components, or no Supra at all?”

Don’t get me wrong I think they could be a cool vehicle.  Just as spec’d from the factory they are a bad truck.  Like with only 2400lbs to pull around 100hp should be enough but hauling anything of substance is going to make this truck dangerously slow.

Folks, this post single-handedly got me the full BINGO on my “dumbass EV arguments” card.  Anyone else, or do I win the big stuffed clown?

Honestly, I’m excited to see how this plays out because either way means lower emissions. And isn’t it nice to see the American auto industry trying to figure out what’s more efficient rather than how to make trucks bigger? (I KNOW, they’re still gonna make trucks bigger. )

Subaru Baja. No payload. No towing capacity. Could not carry 4' wide material (at least the Maverick can above the wheel arches) It was the Baja:

You lose.

Only $800?? What is this? 1995?
