Love the truck and even the price doesn’t seem all THAT crazy, but ironically I think the first thing I’d do it take the crane out of the bed. 

These jokes are triggering my fight or flight response. 

When you look at the list of First World Problems, this has got to be #1 or #2. 

I guess they know what they’re doing, but lets’ also keep some perspective: We car people tend to lean purist/artful/grace/purpose while a LOT of today’s population leans toward “Look at me! Look at me!”. Sadly the auto enthusiast world seems to be a shrinking slice of America’s passion.

That quote was so convoluted and non-sensical that I had to go back and read it 3 times to figure out how the statement could possibly make sense. Conclusion: it can't. 

Nothing like trying to sell a foreign car with a terrible reputation for quality (whether it’s deserved or not) in a time of jingoistic/uber-manly beliefs for half of America and a fear/buckle-down mentality from the other half. As others have said, just let Alfa go out with some dignity. 

As much as I hate to give the many credit, I do like how Tesla’s watch themselves when parked and have that Dog mode so you can leave your pooch in there for a few minutes. However, I’d still never buy one of those swasticars, new or used. 

Getting a citation from a cop in a Citation has a certain apprpritate irony to it, though.

Seems like a good idea on paper, but from what I’ve seen of Ram truck buyers is that they want the biggest and brashest trucks, so buying a midsize would be like saying “I’m not a real man.” The market is there for small trucks like the Maverick, and Ranger and Colorado don’t seem to be putting much of a dent in…

Honestly this is is a borderline case in my eyes, but it tips ND due to the smoldering assholery of the seller’s text. I know the Borla doesn’t add “significant” power, the fake carbon fiber crap isn’t tasteful, and sticking a piece of wood on the headliner isn’t a fix.

Pretty damn good looking, too. Nice job, Cadillac.

Let’s also remember that today’s cars are SO much better than cars of 40 or so years ago. In 1980 a car built in 1970 was a junker at the end of its life. In 2025, a 2015 model year car is almost as safe and reliable as something you could buy right now off a showroom floor. 

In his defense, he likely saw something coming....

Not to mention the fact that expensive-to-make American made cars – which as you say will also likely have questionable quality – will be impossible to sell overseas (for multiple reasons -- cost, quality, emissions), so we’d be boxing in our own shrinking market, too.

And once it’s paid off you’re just paying insurance and hydrogen for as long as a Toyota lasts, which could easily be 250,000 miles. The longer you keep it the better the deal gets. 

They were doing that at least as fatback as 2013, as my 2013 Tacoma was set up that way, too. Never bothered me until someone pointed it out, and then after that it drove me nuts. 

I voted NP because this is probably a pretty damn stout rig for pulling your boat or horse trailer around without having to spend $85K on an ego-inflating King Ranch. I wound’t want it as my daily, but it’d be a nice tool to have in the toolbox. 

Well, at least no one’s talking about our nation’s other pesky problems, like affordable healthcare, social security and infrastructure anymore...

I love the idea. Perfect use for an EV.
