Wow, just wow. That’s like some joke idea that got past the people that were supposed to be paying attention.

I always thought the Audi Rosemeyer concept car of around 2000 was a seriously confused idea. Retro? Futuristic? Steampunk? Bauhaus? Cartoon?

And they’re suggesting that $3.59 is average? So you can get it for less at half the stations???

Supply and demand, baby. Same price structure on cruise ships and movie theaters. And in defense of the gas station, a little pre-planning with fueling up before driving into the desert and traveling with plenty of water is simple common sense.

Looks like about as good of a 3-series of this vintage as you’re going to find, and I bet this delivers a delightful, near-analog driving experience. I say NP because buying any BMW of this vintage is going to be a bit of a financial commitment, whether you spend the money up front for a good clean one or spend it

Sounds to me like “Mustang” is going to be the brand for Ford’s ICE passenger car models going forward, then they can corral all the EVs under the Ford name. That of course means that the next Mustang Mach-E will become just the Mach-E.

To be fair, those were pretty good looking cars for their time, and a decent value. The problems was they were Chryslers, and that reputation was a big hill to climb.

While they seem to lose a ton of value over the first year, is it my imagination or do decent EVs sort of plateau for years 3-6? I mean, used Model 3s are attractive if you can get past the Musk factor, and it doesn’t seem like you can find good ones priced in the teens just yet.

My last three cars have all had voice control and I never used any of them, execpt once or twice to try them — and each of those attempts ended with a quick “Cancel. Cancel. CANCEL!”

I went NP but only becasue I think of that as the starting point. If it passes a PPI, everything works, and you negotiate down to $10K I think it’s a solid alternative to the ubiquitous Land Rovers and 4Runners out there.

Can’t dumb people just do this kind of thing in a chair at home and save themselves the cost of the ticket AND stay the hell out of the way of actual useful, functional people?

SEMA (and its participants) has been full of really bad ideas for quite a while now. Thanks for pointing out their political crap now, too.

I’m not one to make overly sweeping generalizations, but let’s be honest here — the car sales business historically has attracted “talent” that is largely non-college educated, largely people who love to talk and are full of braggadocio, and people that tend to think that the customers that come in to buy from them

Looks bad-ass crazy but seems pretty helpless off-road. Still, why not!

Between my wife and myself we barely drive 10K mies a year, and there’s nothing all that appealing about ANY $60K vehicle, gas or EV. We’re happy with simple, affordable to own and operate vehicles like our Maverick Hybrid. We don’t feel the need to impress the neighbors or the environmentalists.

Seriously? No. To 99.9% of the world it just looks like an old used BMW. And to those who know, they know it’s a MAYBE $18K car at best.

Look at the waves. The wind (noted in the article as 55 knots) is blowing them left to right, which strongly suggests that the larger boat is thus also being pushed by the wind toward the smaller boat. And the smaller boat, which is in the wind shadow of the larger boat, is therefore more or less a sitting duck as the

Looks like he attended the same finishing school as Ron “Always Awkward” Desantis.

Talking back to a cop. I was on a 2-lane road outside of a small town in Delaware and I flashed my lights to oncoming traffic to warn them of a speed trap. Unfortunately for me I didn’t notice the other police car up ahead. He pulled me over, asked if I knew why, and I said “I was just trying to alert other drivers of

I think that whoever is to blame depends on who was anchored there first. Sounds like the other vessel had out a lot of scope which would presumably allow it to crowd into the safe zone around Venus. Regardless, Venus certainly isn’t “plowing bow first” into the other vessel.
