^^ Agreed. This isn’t 1995 anymore, anyone with some patience and a bit of discipline could likely find how-tos and parts for this car online. It’d be an absolute shame to ditch a fine V12 with a GM V8. Nothing wrong with GM engines; it’s just that so much of the character of the Jag comes from that engine.

I’m not saying that cars and trucks can’t be safer. I’m saying that creating the situations where people get hit could be mitigated if everyone used more common sense. That means drivers putting down their cell phones, longer “walk” times at crosswalks, speed calming measures, and pedestrians making better choices.

Throwing a $20 silver harbor freight tarp over a Cybertruck seems like a good idea to me. Seems like they’re half-way there with this $3000 tent.

I’m not one to victim-blame, but pedestrians seem to have gotten dumber in the past few decades, to0. It never fails to amaze me how often I see people j-walking across 6-lane roads when there’s a light and crosswalk 50 yards away, or how many people walk around at night and in the rain wearing only dark clothing. Or

Some things in life are going to require a financial commitment, like a serious golf hobby, a boat, owning a horse, etc. This car fits in with that, but if it gives you pleasure – and driving this thing around on nice days sure could – it’s a an attractive price for what looks to be a very clean car. NP, for the buyer

And a thousand other failures. EPA. Air Traffic Control. National Parks. USDA. Military. Social Security. FDA. CDC.

And this is exactly what will happen to the US Government if Trump and his cronies get back in power. And China/Russia will buy up the assets of the US for pennies on the dollar -- assuming, of course, that Trump doesn’t just give them away or they’re taken by force.

Honestly, I always liked these for the styling and the tech. If it had half the miles and passed an inspection I might be tempted. But life’s too short to gamble on something like this, and there are plenty of modern options that give you similar economy and known reliability for the same money.

for 5K it might be worth buying and driving for a few years as the car’s 3/4th and final buyer, ditching it when you get tired of fixing little things or the rust deals a decisive blow. At 10K you’re pretty invested and have to decide if it’s worth pouring another 10K into it fix everything and give it a good repaint.

It’d be pretty short-sighted for Elon to back Trump, considering that when trump loses the election Biden and the Gov’t might not be very enthusiastic about continuing all of Elon’s subsidies, Space-X contracts, etc.

After Step Five we then petition the supreme court to argue our First Amendment/censorship concerns, effectively putting all the “We Whe People” decal boys in a Constitutional box.

It’s the Floridians, not the trains.

I feel like it looks - for lack of a better word -thin, in the sense it that is seems fragile or not beefy. Kind of like a 1971 Toyota Corona compared to a 71 GTO... it seems like a knockoff with cheaper materials. I’m sure that’s not the case, but as someone else mentioned it doesn’t have a presence that shouts

I’m just posting here to note the fact that a Maybach is being sold on Craigslist. Either that’s one hell of a fall from grace for the MB brand, a validation for CL, or a depressing comment on western civilization.

I say the Camaro, since the original was a smaller car compared to all the later big Muscle Cars like the GTO.

I noticed a lot of that, too. Good catch on the Roosevelt dimes. I got to about the 2:30 mark and just couldn’t take the horrible acting anymore.

Wow, it’s been 10 years already? No pun intended, but time flies!

NP for a side-by-side alternative if you live someplace with lots of fire roads and trails and you’re the type that actually enjoys being in the woods, rather than racing through them. Plus fun to tinker with and easy to fix. Live a little with something like this!

Not to mention the incredible likelihood of the gun being taken off the teacher as a prank or act of violence, or simply for making the teacher the first target/threat that a shooter would go for.

So much ND. No because it’s a goofy-looking call for attention. No because it has no fun driving value. No because I’m not interested in giving two spots in my garage to a clown-train that I’d be embarrassed to drive. No because I’m not interested in a towed-trailer slowing me down on a road trip. I literally wouldn’t
