It looks like Cuomo decided to not hold a special election for some reason. Most likely that her seat was up for election in 2018 anyways and they didn’t want to spend the money on a hastily organized special election to fill the seat for the summer. There was a Dem primary in June for the seat.

I would if I could, but I’m in Louise Slaughter’s district, so we haven’t had representation since she passed away.
