Why the fuck am I seeing 5 year old articles on the front page? This new site refresh fucking blows.

I come here for Torch and Tracy at this point....and sometimes to shit on Erik. I started here in about 2013 with Demuro and Tavarish doing their goofiness and got hooked, have been coming back since and finally joined the commentariat about 4 years ago. I still enjoy Jalopnik but the host of sites has only diminished…
Honestly the problem isn’t the layout. The problem is Jim “A Herb” Spanfeller and the rest of the G/O Media squad of idiots. The ones who make all the good writers leave, the ones who make everything a slideshow because that worked in 2007 and the ones who decide to turn the audio on so you never know when you’re…
“My rage is directed at this layout change that essentially buries and camouflages ads by making the content boxes and ad boxes look similar.”
I’d pay $20 a year. And that’s more than they are making off me since I avert my eyes on all banners, videos, shopping posts on principle.
Very helpful public service announcement about /latest, although some of us were quite happy just typing “jal” into the address bar and autocompleting our way to the site as we knew it. The new format objectively sucks and posting an article that ridicules those who are reasonably irked by that is rather unkind.
I updated mine to thedrive.com
The difference is that you get a new vehicle with 0 miles on it, rather than an 8 year old vehicle with 100,000 miles on it. The former should be more reliable, and last longer, than the latter.
I agree with this, after all, motorcycles are still sold, and they’re way more fucking dangerous than a 240Z. I’d love to be able to buy something new, light, cheap, and visceral, that’s not a motorcycle.
I’m amazed at how many people are simply saying that they do not care if other Americans die. I suppose patriotism in America only means supporting blowing up people/things in far away lands.
I would fit in your category of being a privileged person. You are an ass. To reach my status, I worked while earning three college degrees. My work-from-home office day yesterday started at 6:30 am and ended at 10 pm with a working lunch break in the middle. My cell is on 24/7/365.
I am probably a good reason Eric should have kept that thought to himself. I think I have been on a plane for non-work related reasons one time in the past 10 years. The France trip was for my daughter. She had an opportunity to play in a soccer tournament over there. Buying the tickets put a serious dent in our…
After reading that disaster of a name, all I can picture is a special edition Bronco Sport Paw Patrol.
I don’t think the gains are as huge many people think. There are some super hosts that own a number of properties in select areas that make great money. For most properties, hosts are making a decent amount more than if they were to rent it out long-term, but then have to be more hands on with listing, interacting…
Hey according to Eric screw you rich people.
I completely agree that AirBnB hosting might not be the greatest business plan in the world. Starting any business requires investment and risk. That said, most business can’t pay their debts when their income disappears, and most businesses don’t work on the assumption that their revenue stream is going to nearly…
That you enjoy “watching a privileged person getting owned” as a regular pastime says a lot (mostly negative) about your character.
“each anecdote is often a mini-tale of a privileged person getting owned”
“Airlines should let the voucher credits flow back to whoever paid for the tickets,” Mr. Krawll says. Flexibility in this case, he notes, “costs them nothing.”
