Previously biggest, Orange Juluis is 400 if he’s a pound.

Kei cars legally cannot have more than 64 hp.

It’s a 1/18 scale turbo.

NOPE! You can get these in way better condition for a few more duckats. And you must be living the Life of Riley if you’re willing to spend 3-months worth of paychecks to overpay for a beat-ass Boxster S. I’ll wager you it breaks-down before you can manage to slam into on-coming traffic because the brakes are shot;

It’s been trashed. Rotors are rusty, which means seller can’t drive it. Didn’t bother washing it, the top’s in terrible shape, throwing CEL’s...no. You can get these mint for a couple dollars more. No way I’m touching this.

If it’s still there and you offer them more than $3000, you may need to seek professional help. I have an irrational love for this era of Boxster S, but this heap is not the one you want to take home. If it was cheap enough to drive till it brakes and then scrap it, maybe. But as others have mentioned, for a bit

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Word up.  Literally a $7 drive thru car wash and free vacuum would sell this one.  Someone would pick up a project because they like the color combo and the manual.  This is a no brainer pass.

In the SE here: yeah, these things go for $5k in immaculate condition all day. By looking at the cleanliness and the condition of the rotors, I’m betting it’s not driveable; seller wouldn’t trust it to make it to the car wash. “Brakes well.” LOL How would he even know? Those cross-drilled rotors (that just fuck-up

Enthusiast Owned” + “CEL on” = “Hooned enthusiastically by someone who doesn’t care.”

Totally. In no way do I believe this car has been cared for with the respect and diligence suggested by the seller - I’ll believe my eyes first.

Seriously, a $10 trip through a wash would have made this so much easier to sell. People are mysteries, truly.

I just ignored the “well cared for enthusiast owned” line because it is clearly bullshit. Of course, that means that the seller is a liar as well as someone who doesn’t maintain their car. Wonder what else they’re not being truthful about?

I thought the same thing. An enthusiast doesn’t treat or present their car this way.

My view as well. There are so many issues here: CEL, interior is beat (obviously an issue on this era of Porsche, but the gaffers tape on the e brake is into “you might be a red neck if...” territory), mileage is high (not necessarily bad but means a lot of wearables are going to need to be in line for replacement

“well cared for enthusiast owned” being put up for sale in the most appalling of conditions, not bothering to spend an afternoon washing and barring it down, vacuuming the inside and having Christmas in July on the dash as visible in the pictures?

If they can’t be bothered to wash it before taking pictures to sell it, the list of deferred maintenance is going to be a long one. CP all the way.

The dirt and grime are somewhat forgivable. However would it have killed them to hit the local car wash for the most basic one? Combine the lack of cleaning, shape of the interior, and tape on the E-brake and this is not a good fit at the price.

Grimy and neglected is one thing, and not a good thing. But when I saw that Connecticut tag, it earns the bonus multiplier of being out in the winter, and acid rain remains resulting in that dirt as the winter melted away into Mud Season.

Holy sweet cannoli, some of these people defending Musk.
