Conical air filters inside those...man, I swear those look like plastic sand buckets. That’s a poor man’s cold air intake.

Yep, if you live anywhere hot that’s a dealbreaker. I had a hard line leak in an SUV I bought from a used dealer, and it was in a place where it couldn’t be reached to be repaired (it was literally crammed between the engine and the firewall with less than an inch to work with) and there was no replacement part to…
Oscar night, 2012, he’s obviously heading to a party. Two lanes turn left, he’s in the far left and mistakenly goes into the right lane, mine — whatever, I swing into the bike lane and avert the accident; Shit happens, no biggee. But I tooted my horn to let him know I’m there as I was swerving (NOT leaning on it -…
that seems annoying as hell to try and get shit from the bed on any vehicle that doesn’t have access from the cab to the bed. truck buyers complain enough that the sides of truck beds are too high without the “sail”/buttress

Truly sorry for your loss. Your father was, is and will keep on being a legend and inspiration for anyone who fights against the bad practices of big corporations.
Your father was (and continues to be) an inspiration. Condolences for your loss.
As one of a few Jalops who has actually, really, genuinely been road-raged by Gary Busey (no shit, it happened, and I’m not alone here), I will be sending you my therapy bills for that batshit crazy-induced PTSD, and hoping this awesome vehicle tanks.
Hey everyone,
It’s because in asia, strong arming is considered normal. Now that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen here in the US too, but US still has more individual protection, so as long as you can get the money, you can be in court indefinitely.
It is amazing how bad Nissan, the company, comes off. I know Nissan is a massive company and that they want that domain name for the business, but Mr. Nissan had it first. It’s nice to see a person would devote so much money and effort to defend something on principal. In that regard, he is a much better person than…
Every small business owner everywhere owes this guy a debt of gratitude. The fact that Nissan was smarmy and knew they were in the wrong all these years made it worse! Goodbye Uzi
Okay, looking at the mentions on twitter it’s clear that at least some people are familiar with the term. But “well known?” The Internet has a way of amplifying things beyond their actual scale. I’d bet if you asked a room full of 100 people (10 of whom are gay) who had heard that term, you might get one person…

Just curious, where are you located that trucks are “$2500 all day, every day in satisfactory condition?” Because they aren’t here in the midwest.
After thinking about it, I remembered my brother had one back when he was roofing. It seems guys bought these, loaded them down like a 3/4 ton, and when they didn’t have the capacity/longevity of a full size truck called them crap.
That is so far off the mark it’s comical. In my local market, at most this thing is $500 too high, which is well within negotiating ranges.
What’s your beef with the Dakota? From what I can tell, they’re pretty stout and reliable trucks. For a small/medium truck they have impressive towing/payload capabilities. You can get one with crank windows all the way up until 08 I think. Sure, they squeak and rattle like hell, and they’re not very economical. But,…
Here too. I was going to vote CP, then started looking at prices. This is actually reasonable
Prices are high lately, at least around here. About the only comparable thing I could find quickly was a clean ‘97 Ranger, 2WD, 4-cyl, 5spd, 107k miles, for $4k. Rust free and a V8? Not a bad price, really.
