These selective tax breaks are bullshit. Either tax levels are fine, and no one gets special treatment, or they are too high and should be lowered across the board.  Governments should not be granting unfair competitive advantages to (likely) line their own pockets through kickbacks and bribes.

I think the point is that it is not sustainable income.  Tesla needs to have a plan as those credits begin to dry up as traditional manufacturers transition to EVs.  I do think he has some time to formulate that plan, though.
