Welcome to the fold, my friend.

Always practice safe text.

I was literally trying to read your post on my desktop when a Home Depot add took the screen over and wouldn’t let me close.

Oh I’d forgotten about those tires... Excellent reminder PSA, Miss M.

As an actual pilot, you’re a bit of an idiot and bad at your job if you don’t recognize the significant training and licensing requirements that pilots have over average everyday car drivers.

Seconded.

3rd Gear: I’ve long felt that traditional RVs are basically like boats. The best days of ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. My parents have owned many throughout the years and all of them have been money pits. These things are made by the lowest bidders using the cheapest parts attempting to

Yeah, an autopilot on a sailboat at sea, is definitely taking over and people are sleeping. Certainly on solo passages, and likely even on two or three handed. It’s boring as fuck in the middle of the ocean, nothing happens at all, you have lights, and you have a radar to go off if someone gets within 40 nautical

Aryan pedos.

Selling cars on ‘technically’ is fucking dishonest.

Bahn means train is only one translation. It has different meanings too. Bahn also means path or loosely translated even circuit.

Agreed. This is part of what the feds recommended to Tesla after the first fatal crash in FL years ago, and Tesla blew off as the recommendation had no teeth. Now, it has teeth - maybe they will take it seriously and implement it globally.

And that pesky “full self driving” bit in the documentation flew right by him. That’s the part that was mention in the post, and the court documents that should be catching Tesla’s attention. That’s an outright misrepresentation that can’t be stated as misinterpretation of a technical term.

I think the difference here as outlined in the article and linked article, is Tesla’s use of “Full Self Driving” as the description which it simply isn’t. In the ad you posted above, it doesnt imply anywhere that the car is capable of driving itself. It just says “...a device that helps you maintain a constant speed

You guys need to stop pretending Tesla isn’t making Autopilot seem like it is more than it truly is. They are most definitely purposely trying to be deceptive with it. For god’s sake, it literally says “Full Self-Driving Capability” as the title of the option.

So ahhh, if you’re so technical and hardset on existing definition and not interpretation, I’m guessing a Tesla either flies, goes to space, or floats? I mean, you pilot a plane, spaceship, or ship; certainly not a car.

Tesla’s “autopilot” can’t even do that yet.

Also, what about Autobahn!?

In Germany, words do have meaning.
