I’d be the last guy to defend Chevy Chase because the guy is clearly an asshole, but his assessment of today’s SNL isn’t too far off.

Then what you know is wrong. He played competitive Halo and plays Fortnite competitively, but not that much. If we’re gonna start defining metrics for what a “gamer” is, he’s probably beyond you.

I mean Halo as a franchise was arguably an integral part of the foundation of the current e-sports industry/model. It was the cornerstone of Major League Gaming for over a decade and helped pave the way for console gamers to partake in large scale competitive tournaments, apart from the Fighting game community.

No he didn’t. You took his statements about his relationship and not wanting his wife to have to deal with tabloid drama and somehow twisted it into him being worried women will be damaging to his reputation.  

I found this headline to be much more trashy and manipulative than a typical Jezebel headline, and was sincerely surprised. Titles like this are why I refuse to read BuzzFeed. So far all my comments have been approved, so if this one isn’t at least we know why.

Shh don’t say that it goes against the narrative. 

I’m not saying the entire crux of the article is wrong, but to say that cops are unimpeachable and make no mistakes is incongruous with the first mission of the game, where a group of corrupt officer attack Spider-Man.

Evidently, Norm Macdonald thinks we’d all be better off if we went back to the days when everyone assumed women were lying about abuse or harassment and all famous people were given an infinite supply of second chances whenever they fuck up.

I’m with Norm, I don’t automatically trust everything women say. Or men for that matter. Or those who don’t identify as either. Or those who identify as both. Or religious people. Or atheists. Anyone really.

So rather than just allowing these characters to evolve naturally, or let them be friends or rivals, shippers jump into the fray attempting to define these two as lovers, because all they can do is fantasize endlessly about various characters’ love lives and get toxic about it in the process. Yeah, this won’t end well.

Is it really so far-fetched to imagine that maybe they’re, you know, best friends? If they’re officially lovers, that’s cool, but any time two characters are close (same or opposite sex) it seems like the natural fan reaction is “oh dey fuckin”. It starts to get a little stale and one-note.
