Oh, you know. Just got invited to the Alpha for The Division, which ends Sunday. Did I mention I’ve been working so much I haven’t even had time to install it, and that I have to put in 20 or so hours the next 2 days? Been looking forward to the game for years and I won’t even be able to touch it. :’(

I have to same issue as the OP, and I’m hesitant to spend an additional $50-100 to get it to do what my Xbox and WiiU already do. The Network card is an absolute joke and the main reason I find myself playing the other two consoles much more frequently.

But ‘suiting the tone’ pretty much sums up my feelings on VII: it’s pretty damned one-note. There’s not a whole of variance, not just in the music, that when there is something different it’s jarring. See: cross-dressing Cloud, snowboarding, Cait Sith in general. VI is more broad in virtually everything.

I might have agreed with you about the battle theme, but not about the overworld theme. Terra’s Theme, above, is the best (IMHO) song Uematsu ever composed and is a brilliant overworld theme.
