To hear Terra’s Theme remastered and Kefka’s laugh in HD?

That’s not a remake, that’s a rerelease or a remaster. FF3 and 4 on the DS were remakes with new graphics, music, translation, etc.

Seriously, VI is SO good. How have we been given complete remakes of both III and IV (in addition to sequels for IV) and all we get with VI is the abomination that was the mobile port?

Maybe this is naive, but I don’t play MMOs. FFXIV might be a truly great game, but unless it is an epic single player game, it’s not really a Final Fantasy game to me.

That’s what I’ve heard. Look to pick it up here soon. But, it’s not a numbered FF game, so I can’t really include it in the same vein as 1-14.

Personally, the series is a parabola. It reached the apex with VI and has been on an decline ever since.

I hesitant towards both The Witcher and MGSV as I didn’t like any of the preceding series. I know, I’m a heretic.

Oh, there will be no rushing. I’m anticipating about ~100 hours for the first 3, maybe about 30-40 for Far Cry. I’m a completionist and open-world games are my drug.

Yeah, just made the mistake of buying the new Assassin’s Creed, MGSV, Witcher 3, and Far Cry 4 on Black Friday. After these plus Fallout, I might be sick of open world games for a while.
