Of the many ridiculous one-off kit and supercars we see on here, this has to be up there for outlandishness with apparently very nice fit and finish on the outside. I’m of course never going to buy it either, but if I won the Mega Millions today and could pick this up for 15 grand? I think you could do worse for

Typically, yes. For the last three generations (E65, F01/02, G11/12), the -60i badge denoted the V12. But now that that’s gone, I guess BMW decided to move the V8 version (previously -50i) on up. It doesn’t make any sense. But they probably did it because Mercedes-Benz now badges its V8 models as -580, and they didn’t

I don’t hate it. It’s a better implementation of the giant kidneys than anything else thus far, and the blocky elements are purposeful. That said, what the eff is this unholy union of fender, bumper and hood? And they didn’t even bother photoshopping the bumper and fender to be the same color. Lazy.

The paint color/texture doesn’t even match.

I can’t decide if this blacked out model looks better or like an unfinished prototype:

My first flight (Montreal to Paris in 1970) was on a 747. What astonished me was the second floor with a staircase! I had the chance to visit this second floor Lounge).

A few years ago, well 1991 actually, the BBC ran a series called ‘Building Sights’ in which eminent architects were asked to nominate a building that they considered important and spend forty minutes explaining why.

I really wanted to buy a CPO Giulia or Stelvio but they’re just too much $$ for too little. To get any real features you’re looking at spending more than a comparable CPO BMW or Audi which…nah.

My gut reaction for the headline was, “No way! What is this guy smoking?”

Exactly!

I’ve been very critical of BMW’s design language of late (and the grille, of course, deserves all of the usual scorn)... but... I don’t hate this.

Remember when the Stinger was announced and all the Jalops were planning to buy hugely depreciated used Stingers? Thanks Covid... : /

Mazda3 Turbo AWD is not the choice I would have made for underpowered. Would not even be a choice. Offer 6 speed manual transmission and tune the suspension a bit and it’s great. It’s already very good.

Left Hand Utes was mentioned during the development of this story. However, our EIC noted that when the company was interviewed for a prior story its owner failed to provide proof that their conversions are federally legal before they ceased communications.

I think more than a few of them are worried because this is so blatant that it is bound to attract the Feds attention to the community and once they get involved they start pulling at all sorts of threads. This will not be the only one brought in with some sort of scam, and they are now worried their own cars could be

There’s definitely a lot of shenanigans that go on in the classic muscle car restoration game, but I think the key issue here is that the imported car couldn’t be registered in the US because it isn’t 25 years old. So they are intentionally (allegedly) trying to skirt import laws by importing it and swapping the VINs

I wonder if this Ute has “posi-traction”

If buying this gets you into legal trouble, I might know a guy.

The EQS styling fits a CUV much better than a sedan.
