I agree, I think this is one of the most cohesive designs by Honda and my favorite Accord. Big, airy greenhouse, rifle-action 5-speed with a sewing machine like 2.2L. And those mid-90s Honda ergonomics. Perfect.

I have a CX-9, and it has about the same amount of space behind the third row as this picture of a Telluride. Where Mazda really scrimped on space is the third row legroom. Most of the three rowers are only gonna be a little larger behind the third row than the CX9 and have a bit more space for the passengers. And…
If I’m reading the OP correct, he’s got a 6yo, 5yo, plus a 3month old. You can’t stick a baby seat and two carseats into the back of an Accord.
I read the account of his recovery, “On the Edge” and he’s very explicit about the trauma of the crash, how it affected him, and how he returned to work too quickly. He had mood swings, was unable to regulate emotions on top of a lot of memory issues. His wife also recounts what it was like during that time as well.…
Yeah, the outcomes of this testing make tons of sense. What seems easy to improve in this situation (“OMG WHY DON’T THEY DETECT T-BONES!”) would require a significant increase in the design parameters of the AEB. Let’s not let perfect be the enemy of good.
“And this is a tiny nit-pick, but: Porsche’s gimmicky 911-shaped key fob feels a little silly when you’ll never take it out of your pocket, twisting a permanent dashboard switch to start the engine.”
For all the same reasons I voted NP too.
Not for nothing, but Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman traveled from Tierra Del Fuego to Los Angeles using Harley Livewires and preproduction Rivians. Rivian built some of the fast charging stations along the route. So, there’s a significant chunk (13,000 miles) that Nissan could follow because of their TV show, Long…
Yeah, Hyundai already made this mistake with a stretched 3 row Santa Fe. Now they have the Pallisade which is a sibling to the Telluride. Lexus can do the exact same damn thing with the TX.
Oh wow, that’s ghastly.
Mazda 3 Turbo. 250HP/310lbft with AWD.
Cars 2 is an *excellent* Bond spoof.
Lying about shit like that fits perfectly with the character, too.
I think the Bronco is probably the worst case of all possible cases. It’s a brand new platform that competes in a category owned by a single vehicle, the category has fanatical owners with very high expectations, the anticipation was tremendous, and the accolades are numerous all with a historic nameplate. Even…
Yup, the swangers aren’t nearly big enough.
...figure out how to remove the outer plastic cover, which when I looked into it... nah, not happening.
IIRC, the WRX and STI come with summer tires. That will definitely knock down a few mpgs.
*That automaker is BYD, a name only 26 years old, by the way.*
Yeah, at some point 10 years ago I changed my mind about ebrakes because someone pointed out that the electronics are more reliable than a cable hanging exposed to the elements. I’ve had to unstick the parking cable on the most reliable car in the world (1995 Camry) so getting rid of the cable makes sense anecdotally.
I remember the scorn heaped on the RSX when it first came out, too. It didn’t help that it coincided with switching the 7th gen Civic to *gasp* *horror* MacPherson struts.
