Weird Al’s got you covered:

God help me, but the footage really needs reddit’s stabbot.

Yeah, Halsey is a thing at this point. She’s a mentor on The Voice this season. She went #1 on Billboard in 2016 with the Chainsmokers. Most of the people who are going “Who?” have heard her sing because “Closer” stayed at #1 for 12 weeks.

A new Civic has about the same interior volume as my BL Legacy GT.

What’s the plus or Minos on how many people get this joke?

YEEEEEEEEPPPP. That “restructured” bit is surgical in precision.

You’re absolutely right, and that’s why it was called a bailout. That response from GM was sad. It could have been reduced to “We met all our fiduciary requirements” which completely misses the point.

Ding, ding, ding! Escape, Edge, Explorer. Equinox, Trailblazer, Traverse. Tucson, Santa Fe, Santa Fe XL. X1, X3, X5. Crosstrek, Outback, Ascent. Q3, Q5, Q7.

...for a couple of nights at a hotel named Jeremy...

I’ve seen a few arguments here that this time around its different. For instance, 15 years ago everybody was buying body-on-frame, thirsty as fuck SUVs. This time around, everybody’s buying CR-Vs, HR-Vs, RAV-4s, etc. That V6 powered Explorer 15 years ago got 16 combined. This year the CR-V gets 27 combined.

Mustang with a Japanese straight six? But is it good enough to take on DK in the final boss battle?

I’m the same. I’ve got a BL Legacy GT, and it’s about the same size now as a Civic and an Accord just seems mammoth.

The GT350 has a flat-plane V8 and a huge deal was made about it when it was released. The GT500 uses a cross-plane because of the supercharger according to other sources. From this perspective, it makes sense to mention that the big brother of the GT350 doesn’t have a flat-plane crank.

...it always seemed curious to me why the earlier 13Bs have enjoyed such a long life while the Renesis engines have not...

Yeah, this was my understanding of the Renesis engine as well. It was the boost that required thicker seals, more robust housing, etc. So, obviously if you’re gonna rebuild a rotary for boost, you’re going to skip the Renesis. That doesn’t make it somehow worse than the 13B-REW.

It’s a small, two-seater coupe that probably isn’t very practical.

Came for the video game series. Am satisfied.

Honda doesn’t need to bring the Harmony, BT&H got it covered.

20 years ago, Jean Jennings wrote in her column “Vile Gossip” about this. Her husband was the perfect driver, always drove the speed limit, took into account weather, always signaled, etc. Got absolutely wrecked because someone had pulled over on the side of a freeway and then decided to just pull back into traffic
