I still laugh about the notice I got from CARB. Someone saw smoke coming from my truck, and reported it to the state.

I know I'll get heat from all the Transit fanboys, but...

Why are we paying for this?
If you want US navy protection, flag your ships with our flag. Pay your workers according to our laws and pay our taxes. Otherwise get Mongolia to protect you or whatever other flag of convenience you fly.

Simple Solution

Does this count as a pickup? It has a “bed”, right??

Y’all are crazy, this column shifter rules.

“...The chicken wing poking out from behind the steering wheel is easy to grab and never ends up in gear when you’re trying to put it in park. It’s out of the way when you’re driving and doesn’t mess with the interior aesthetic. Long live the damn thing.”

After yesterday’s failure, Elon Musk said that Falcon landed fine, but because of excess velocity, it tipped over once the stage rocket touched down.

I ADORE the net effect of the AEV ram...but...$2000 is a lot of money for 3 aluminum spaces, a drop bracket a drag link and a track bar. I true 3 inch lift kit with dampers (none listed here) with radius arm drop brackets or castor correction bushings a new drag link and a new track bar is probably $1500 for a land

People have been clamoring for a stripped down super basic truck for a while. As soon as someone actually offers one, people star complaining about how it is so stripped down.

Thing is, Toyota is keeping the manual AND a handbrake in the Tacoma and I would bet Nissan does too when it gets around to redoing the Frontier. This is GM saying: "look if you want to shift yourself buy a Toyota like you were going to do anyway". I think there is a strong argument for a stick in this segment given

As much a manual would transform a truck like this from a dull work dolly to a entertaining runabout, it doesn't outweigh the V6, 4x4, and big cab options.

I still don't understand why you can't get low volume or agricultural emissions exemptions for these. They are basically just road legal tractors.
