Does the cost of re-tooling every factory outweigh the benefits? Maybe.

Just a heads up guys. If you read the press release from Ford.com about the 2017 Raptor it calls out an "available imposing tailgate" which seems like exactly what we are talking about here. Heres to hoping its a very expensive option that no one ticks.

The question for you would be what would you describe as your routine hauling needs? The reason I ask is that I own a very small pickup myself, the formerly very small, first gen tacoma with a 6 by 4 foot bed, standard cab, crank windows etc etc. I would not describe myself as a professional contractor. Just your

Im glad someone said it! Wheres my ecoboost coyote at, Ford?

Who the fuck bought and drove a FGT because of fuel economy? Seriously?

MPGs? Really?

Much more than 12K and the limiting factor isn't torque or power- '80s 18wheelers weren't appreciably more powerful than the current V8 diesels in 3/4 ton/1 ton pickups- it's suspension. For a 15K to 25K towing rating, they would've needed heavier duty rear leafs, etc., which would've made the truck ride a lot more

It will take a good amount of time, along with a lot more support from the US before they become independent. Trying to choose my words carefully here, I am by no

I don't necessarily disagree (although there is definitely a different philosophical view in Europe with regards to when and why to use an offensive capability), but I was being specific in my point. The US maintains its European presence to serve its own strategic interests in the region, not to shore up the European

I'd agree that is a reasonable approach. Good post.

Good luck getting to that

I've had both break over the years. Granted the manual mechanism seems more robust but honestly, the motors in my bronco made it 25 years before they needed to be replaced and unless you are stretch armstrong, you cant reach the passenger side crank from the driver's seat. Once every 25 years is an acceptable

Front bench seats and column shifter. You know why.

Wing windows. A/C crapped out and it's getting hot. Rolling the entire window down at highway speeds wreaks havoc. Wing windows were just the thing for cooling the car on the highway. I really do miss them.

have you seen the zr2 Colorado diesel?
