Can't wait to rip the toyota engine and trans out of my land cruiser, turn it into a boat mooring, and put in a lovely Chevy V8. For even more fun I plan to swap all the toyo badges for Chevy. I promise, it will have a hell of a lot more soul once I'm done.

Have you done one?

I'm sure in lax states you could register them as custom vehicles once you installed all the right equipment.

Saw this this morning. They will inevitably be over priced and hard to title and get road legal. For my money I would get a M-35. Bigger more badass, and I think I'd honestly use it more for home remodel projects and the like.

It's been confirmed 250 and 350 are going aluminum.

I already know SAE so its not really and issue for me. Learning wtf a Kilometer is and a $/L would be annoying.

I give zero cares about how the rest of the world measures things.

Yup, couldn't agree more.

lol, certainly more than I'd prefer.

Even if this happened it wouldn't necessarily be retroactive for used vehicles. But yes, I agree I think this is the most plausible solution.

You are correct, it came about because people were buying new (mostly german) cars not used ones.

Metric, no thanks. Plus aren't all fasteners now metric on all American cars?

Hopefully not.

you might be able to get it repealed once they standardize the crash test and emissions requirements between the US and Europe as part of TTIP.

I would argue that they should separate them since title of the infographic is "Top Ten Models by Volume Transacting over 50k." F-150 and F-250 and F-350 etc. are separate models thus they should be separated out.

Agreed... sadly.

I've always wondered if I were to buy a jeep would I get the cheapest one possible and upgrade or try and strengthen the D-44. I think I'd probably want to go straight to 60's.
