the only ones I recognized were Macario and Sesselmann, and I was quite surprised to see Sesselmann was still playing.

It looks like they somehow lured that Macario kid out to Cleveland for the summer?
...apparently today they drew whatever the fuck the Cleveland Ambassadors are.
Liverpool brought their women’s team along on the club’s tour of the US and then provided fans no way to see the team play its scheduled friendlies?
I would say for NWSL, it’s more about ownership. WPS had a team there, but it lasted one season. I think they are holding out for Mia Hamm and LAFC to take on a team.
FYI did you read this excellent piece on black players in the NWSL? https://www.worldsportsseries.com/black-nwsl-players-talk-building-a-career-in-american-soccer/
that top 3 will retire at some point all are 32 and above. You might just want to find a younger alternative to Press!
You can’t have our gays, Fox News crowd!
Nah I’m cool
I think it’s more that the article itself is kind of amazing— the moment anything potentially negative is floated about AOC, Splinter goes full Trump attacking the sourcing, motives behind it, etc but if a similar story was floated about Nancy Pelosi they wouldn’t just run it, they’d split it into a multipart article…
I would be surprised if it was actually her team - i should have been clearer. I’m guessing that it was the US Soccer team or the USWNT crew.
Forget GOP (especially White House) they don’t even hold this same standard when attacking Dems they don’t support.
Do you hold this same position for anonymous sources who provide details on GOP doings?
Hey now, you behave when Professor Libby is teaching us about journalism!
Didn’t Rose Lavelle give PMT an interview like right before the World Cup? We should cancel her right?
I hate Barstool as much as the next guy but the deep investigative dive into every single person that briefly associates themselves with that shit hole comes off as a bit desperate at times.
Wimbledon and the Tour de France, both great events. Plus I love baseball in the dog days of summer, even if my team sucks. On TV, but especially at the stadium. And minor league baseball is awesome in person! Cheap, intimate.
Federer and Nadal are going to meet in the semifinals at Wimbledon tomorrow. And Serena should hopefully win her 24th grand slam on Saturday. Those are pretty cool things.
I love it.
it’s great. did you see the “we love you, biiiiitch” sign in the crowd? I cracked up.
