The idea that Team GB will potentially add Little+Fishy to basically England for the Olympics is exhilarating/terrifying.

I mean, the argument that, “You’re playing like crap and might lose your starting job because you’re injured, but we don’t think you should have surgery to fix the injury,” is not what I would call a *strong* argument, but it is definitely an argument I can see a team as dysfunctionally moronic as the Jets making.

I’m guessing Sonnett was taken partly because she can play both center and right, and partly because she wasn’t going to play much, if at all, so team chemistry matters as much as playing ability.

Yeah, she needs to name names. But Lloyd can’t play No.10 any more. The only spot she can play is No.9 is because she’s too slow to play midfield or either wing position.

Specifically, she’s talking about Alex Morgan. She was 36 and striker was the only position she could’ve played.
