LOL, that is a funny video but yeah probably not for kids. I'm just surprised the super bowl performance was blocked too! I didn't think there was anything wrong with it at all. But I'm sure it's because of all the complaints.

hahahahhaaaaa!!!! Oh man! I’m telling him that tonight, he’ll get a kick out of it. Greys for life!! This whole grey/ungrey reminds me of that amazing Community episode where they do the beta testing for that social ratings app, and the school descends into chaos of the “fours” and then the lower “twos and ones” :P

Oh never mind then. But I will say that her being an asshole does make it even funnier for me to imagine her sitting there trying to blend in with everyone

HAHahaha!!!! Oh this is too funny. When you said you weren’t sure if you were more mad at "Alysha or In Touch" I got a little confused thinking they had someone new do the MidWeek Madness for Bobby thinking to myself "But this one had all the tell-tell Bobby-ness." Sarcasm. Silliness. Bits that he continues forever

Just this boob right here ;)

This just confirms my theory that the Obamas are the first black people little George had personally been introduced to. First thought when I saw this:

This made me sad for that poor girl in her new white dress :( A lot of students at my high school were in that boat, and they let people who asked attend the ceremony as long as they were going to get their remaining credits in the summer. I mean, for a 17 yr old, missing out on graduation is likely pretty

Wowwwwwwww. I'm such a dum dum - I read the OP's comment and then read the thread and was like "Jesse Tyler Ferguson is in a sham marriage??" so I went and read the link about him and was even further confused and bewildered and was about to as WTF but once I got it I thought sharing my inadequacies would be a more

Oh this is too hilarious :) I like that your soul is grey btw, much more ambiguous and apathetic than a black soul. I'm laughing though because the same thing happened to me! It's as if some comments will be black right away because its in a thread where I got enough stars maybe on another comment in the same thread?

LOL, so it censored the Super Bowl performance or the Formation video?? The super bowl performance was so harmless! No cussing, no flashing a la Janet, no giving the finger like MIA. Just some words about being a black woman. And that is inappropriate?! I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

This is an incredible thread and I really applaud your ability to speak directly and reasonably to people who just cannot get it. These people can admit white privilege, but when they hear of a word that describes that very experience for many minority women, they want to get defensive.

She freely admits it is an insult. What she is saying is that it is not a "slur", and for white people to get so utterly offended by a basically harmless word says more about them than about the phrase itself. It's an insult about a specific type of approval for whiteness and white behavior, and they point it out

Thank you for pointing this out - being older wouldn't make it any easier so being young shouldn't be worse. Maybe it's just the idea of not being prepared for that when you're younger. But shit can happen at any age so there is no knowing, really. I'm sorry you're in that position, caring for family is never easy but

Yeah, that seriously made my stomach hurt and I got all short of breath. Been in that situation where you know not saying the truth is somehow better even if it guts you, and she got all those feelings across in that scene and more. And his fucking face, asking her what happened over and over. GOD it hurts to

Yeah, I have some coworkers in that position too and you're so right that you never know what to expect. In that sense, life is so much of a crap shoot - why not just do what feels right regardless of everyone else thinking it's wrong or weird?

But my point is that while the issue of adequate public bathrooms is in fact a problem, particularly in larger cities, that isn’t what this post was about. It is specifically about how those few free bathrooms you mention were pay bathrooms, and that requiring pay for their use was an undue burden on women and

Yeah, that’s true. Being the same age doesn't make loss any easier to deal with. And even if you’re young you never know what you could face in life. That's why I can understand people who just say fuck it and do what they feel is best for them, even if the rest of the world says ew, gross.

Oh, yeah I wasn't sold either until I watched the whole episode. I'm pretty impressed with the main actress. She and the lead guy have some serious chemistry and it makes their scenes a lot of fun to watch. The supporting cast is pretty decent too, she and her best friend run their security company so it's cool seeing

Nah, your post was totally reasonable. I like your point about working through relationships, at that age. It definitely gives me hope (single or not) that life gets better and easier because you get better and easier with managing the stress. Not that it goes away, you just gain a healthier perspective of it maybe.

I guess I missed that, so I apologize. I really wasn’t trying to play any sort of card here. I replied letting you know I have a hard time with that generalization of welfare recipients and I get that wasn’t the point you were making. I just have a hard time with misconceptions people often have about how those funds
