He’s not being magnanimous. Trump doesn’t drink.

If the Trumps sue, then they’d be opening themselves up to discovery, right? What does that do to Barron’s privacy?
As a state governor, he has as much right to order people off of *federal* land as I do. And for the record, I say the protestors can stay as long as they want.
This. Exactly this. We should be paying attention to everything this man does. He’s not sophisticated enough to try to distract us with tweeting. He’s got the impulse control of a 2-year old. His tweets are a mirror to his weird orange soul.
God yes this should be news. Especially since ND’s governor does not have jurisdiction on federal property.
So, you’ve resorted to calling me a “condescending little fuck”—and that’s what you think passes for political discourse? I’m not surprised my arguments don’t make sense to you.
Sigh. The law is that Jill Stein can ask for a recount—and as long as she is willing to pay for one, she gets one
Innocent until proven guilty is for the court of law. It has no bearing on public concern.
They should take the time to do the recount because THAT’S THE LAW.
To get back to my original point—you don’t have evidence until you do an investigation. And plenty of people—academics, statisticians, etc.—think that that these numbers deserves another look.
You don’t know what happened any more than I do. I, however, am attempting to find out by supporting a recount effort, while you are just smugly stating that others are bigots and idiots without evidence.
I don’t really understand people who value hanging onto our “norms” instead of making sure we do everything we can to get an accurate vote count.
True.
That statement is ridiculous. Counting and recounting the votes does not change how the votes were cast. All is does is give more confidence that the totals are correct.
The crime of voter turnout being low occurs during every election, sadly.
Of course I didn’t support Trump when he said the election was rigged prior to the election. You don’t say the refs cheated before the game even starts. But during and after the game—if it looks like the refs cheated—then yes, you get to complain.
Not caring if the votes were counted accurately because you are afraid to find out they weren’t is a very anti-democratic sentiment.
How do you get any actual evidence if you don’t examine the results?
I am finding that “white nationalists” seems to bother them the most, so it’s the one I’m using at the moment.
And I hold to the standard that I can dismiss his comment from 2012 as foul, derogatory, and something he can be ashamed of without dismissing him as a human being. And I can respect the comment he made in 2016 without insisting it is only valid if his life has been as exemplary as the comment itself.
