What would be the point for you when you can already immerse yourself in play with them?

Okay so I am all for this! If you think it enhances your play time that is great, HOWEVER...

I am with you. This article was super fascinating and on some levels made a lot of sense, but I bet I couldn’t do it. It would remind me too forcibly of painful, abusive and neglectful aspects of my own childhood that have to do with having a very, very drug addicted parent. No matter how much I recognize that pot is

My law professors would always say “never sue on principle” but I feel that cases like this are the exception. She has means that allow it to still be worth it even if she comes out of it with very little actual cash. I’m grateful that she used her wealth and fame to set a precedent for cases involving women mass

Exactly. I really think she just wanted them to be held publicly accountable. The money is just icing on the cake.

True...but I think the main thing Andrews was looking for was a very public and a huge number for the judgment in the headlines to ensure that hotel chains will be much more careful about not giving out guest information in the future...

Just looking at the sleeping positions in that top photo...

Every time a member at my church goes in for surgery or a medical treatment, the first thing we do is pray for the hands of the doctor, nurses and medical staff. Miracles are worked through their hands, denying the miraculousness of modern medicine is ludacris.

People, please start believing that health care IS the miracle God sent you.

Everything you wrote is nonsense.

For any of you who have not read the NYT article, oh by god please read it, word for word, and take your time.

I love that red dress.

Yep. “I haven’t had carbs in five years. I’m miserable! Why the hell aren’t you miserable? You should be miserable too!”

Indeed. Cheryl Tiegs was the face of Virginia Slims. That’s what she’s famous for. Is obesity unhealthy? Yes. Do I think a cigarette peddler is the best person to be listening to regarding what’s healthy? No.

My non-professional medical advice consists of: drink water, get sleep, bathe, and/or see a medical professional about that and the other festering thing you are ignoring.

Are we sure her waist isn’t 35 inches or less anyways? I googled and sources say less than. I don’t know how accurate that is, but point being that being plus-size in the fashion world does not necessarily place one’s waist line above Dr. Oz’s magic number.

Cheryl Tiegs used to be a spokeswoman for Virginia Slims cigarettes so I think I'm gonna take a hard pass on her advice for what's healthy.

Oh, I’ve thought about this quite a bit actually. If Oprah with all her money (with its access to any and all resources necessary/desired to lose weight) and seemingly endless ability, resilience, willpower and tenacity has been unable to lose weight and keep it off, that is the clearest message ever about weight

i don’t get it either, she has struggled with her weight for years, why would WW think she’s a good example? it seems like she’s tried every diet out there and always ends up being slightly larger than what she wants to be. sometimes that is just the weight that your body wants to be. like if Oprah fucking Winfrey
