Wait, just so I understand this clearly, you’re actually saying you hope she was raped so that would bring credibility to all women who cry sexual assault? Man that’s fucking warped.

Doesn’t anyone find the slightest insinuation that Rose has any connection to this problematic? A police officer dies and everyone side-eyes the black man from Englewood on the South Side of Chicago. Cool. Pay no mind to the officer’s other ongoing investigations into violent crime in a major metro area, or the call

Thank Christ.

I did not. Was it good? Bad? Does he harbor dark secrets? Surreptitious superheroism?

I’m just happy Fast & Furious is not the only multi-ethnic ensemble piece that makes a lot of money, and that people are still willing to watch adaptations of new comic books just like they did with Guardians of The Galaxy and Ant-Man instead of sticking with familiar faces like Batman and Iron Man.

And yet there will likely never be another Ghostbusters movie with McCarthy, Wiig, Jones, and McKinnon.

Popular movie baffles people who don’t like it so they pretend it’s not popular, news at 11.

I really do think that any group that has PEOPLE in charge of children will have sexual abuse problems.

When I worked at the YMCA they had very clear regulations to prevent sex-abuse. There was never to be one adult and one child alone together (and we were also to try to discourage kids alone together in pairs, sending kids to the bathroom/dressing rooms in groups of three).

And there are women predators too but I don’t think the numbers are as high.

Yup. The school is the one who fucked up here, and they tried to fix it by quickly coming up with a definition after this incident had taken place. Unfortunately, from a legal standpoint, the judge is right, you can’t suspend a student based on a definition that didn’t exist at the time of the incident, and then write

I’m quite content knowing I’m on a side that can coexist with people that choose to not own firearms but don’t use their agenda as a cudgel to browbeat others into changing.

No, they’re opposed to mandatory minimum sentencing laws, which are disproportionately used to incarcerate people of color.

But if you admit you are drinking with the girl, she admits she was drinking.... And that is against the school code, guess what?

Not really. To many of those people any man accused of rape is a rapist, if he is found not guilty; he is a rapist that got away with it.

I’m willing to this person the benefit of the doubt. Black men don’t exactly have a history of being treated fairly in judicial proceedings. I think it’s fair for him to assume that a hearing with such a low standard is going to steamroll him.

Something that needs to be made crystal clear, if due process is stripped from men accused of sexual assault, young black males will bear the largest burden, whether they are guilty or not.

I actually read this story expecting to be able to quickly comment that the dude was obviously upset that schools are finally responding appropriately to allegations of sexual assault and/or that universities may be overstepping on these cases in a deliberate attempt to neuter Title IX. After reading, I’m not at all

Well he was in that one club that was all about fighting. Can’t think of the name of it.

Wow, bullshit allegations from a future ex wife. That would never happen!
