Huh. Haven't seen the remake in a while. Maybe I will watch it again and try to see it through the eyes of someone unfamiliar with the original. I think I was more focused on specific details, and seeing what Rooney was going to do in each scene, rather than the overall flow of things.

It's amazing how much of the cool, detective-y nuts and bolts they left out of the remake. Didn't hate the Fincher version, and I was surprised how much I liked/enjoyed Rooney in the role, but the original is superior in nearly every way (plus NOOMI!).

I enjoyed this exchange. I saw the humor and laughed because I understood it was sarcastic, but I fully understood Lady's objectification to it. You hashed it out and moved on. I wish more interneting was done as such.
