Have you ever tried halloumi? It is some sort of Greek cheese you can buy in a block and then slice up and fry in a pan with butter. It is like mozzarella sticks on crack. But I tell myself it's healthier because no breading!

Holla! I have age spots on my forehead AND a weird giant patch that’s a couple shades darker than the skin around it (maybe it is just a gigantic age spot???!) but my skin is very freckled and moled in general so it kinda matches my (what I like to think of as) sun-kissed overall look. I only wear foundation about 30%

This is what made me finally stop hating my dark circles. No concealer = everyone assumes I'm on my deathbed and leaves me the fuck alone.

Yes, it also forced me to do everything super far in advance (for fear of things being booked and not being able to find an alternative) when normally I am the biggest procrastinator in the world. So, two months before the wedding (and since the new year, basically) I am almost completely stress-free, which is so

The story about the roses is adorable!! My cute fiancé story is that he really really pushed for me to have a veil. He said he had always imagined when he got married that his bride would wear a very traditional veil. And now I’m glad I got one, because my dress isn’t very wedding-y and the veil really pulls it all

Ugh this is why I am so glad we’re having a small wedding AND almost none of my friends have kids yet. We didn’t even have to specify no children. But I really don’t understand why people get so offended that their offspring are not included in a fancy evening party!

All the dots and circles make me think this is some sort of coded galactic message or possibly a landing strip for very small aliens.

From what I understand, the sweat just comes out somewhere else. So unless you Botox all your sweat glands everywhere on your body, you’ll be ok.

Ewwwwwwwww.

Yeah, my first serious boyfriend and I have maintained occasional contact because we were each other’s first loves, first everythings really, and our relationship ended because it had just run its course and we weren’t right for each other in the grand scheme of life. I know he is happy for me and I wish him well too.

I think we may be the same person. :)

Oh wow. You win!

ME TOO it was white jeans and a white t-shirt I think I shared this already during a Pissing Contest.

Yeah, I make detailed lists of like...what to pack when I go away for a weekend. Fiancé makes up spreadsheets for household maintenance! But I am very happy with our non-spreadsheet wedding plans and guest lists/addresses scribbled on a few sheets of looseleaf. Of course it helps that we only have 60 guests and

I love this!! Who cares if the guests were confused as long as you enjoyed it :)

I ordered my dress from Shopbop too! It is white but it’s not a “real” wedding dress (I can tell you this with 100% certainty based on its price, haha).

I did something kind of weird but I think it’s going to work out well in the long run. Table decor: I haunted my local antiques and thrift shops for months buying vases and fancy candle holders and all sorts of pretty things for decorating. I absolutely despise the cookie cutter hired decorator everything matching

I'm getting married in two months. I have no spreadsheets.

This is one reason I am really excited that fiancé decided to wear his dress uniform (with bright red jacket) for the wedding. It will make him look and feel extra special on the big day too. As he should! He wanted a “real” traditional wedding much more than I did.

Very well said. I am so amazed by how this whole story has played out. It has actually increased my faith in humanity!
