The only way to survive this car is to feature it in a YouTube series about how it financially ruins you. Or at least that’s primarily what shows up on my recommended list.  I don’t think even Hoovie would touch this thing.

I don’t mean to brag, but I have something in common with a Lexus. We both have tiny Speedos!

Enough said.

Just wondering if maybe there is some strange US DOT regulation at play here that requires a separate speedometer?

Any plane that is flying right now took off more times than it landed.

The SVO. I feel like it was created to piss people off.

Which is funny, since literally all non-cow milks already do it so nothing would change for them.

That doesn’t change the fact that the ad violates the law based on the fact that it is using USDA Milk ad funding while pushing a political agenda. it’s the same reason the president can’t use government funds for campaign ads.

correct, there’s also the fact that the Dairy group that made this ad is restricted in what they can advertise due to the fact that those advertisements are subsidized by the US government. which is why they are not allowed to promote or push for specific legislative purposes in the ads which is part of the issue here.

“90's Ranger-size” doesn’t seem to be an option

magas hate Telsas and EVs, but love Musk.

Right now, there’s no word on their ... motive, according to the AP.”

Honestly the “milk debate” is stupid. nobody actually thinks someone is milking an almond we all get that it’s the style of beverage not the origin.

The best thing that could come out of this is would be that all milks are required to be labeled by source - cow’s milk, oat milk, sheep’s milk, etc. - so we can be fucking done with it.

“It is one thing for it to promote cow’s milk,” said Physicians Committee President Neal Barnard in a statement sent to The Takeout. “It is quite another thing to mock the products that many nonwhite Americans choose for health reasons.”

Time to penalize EVs ALL VEHICLES by weight.”

The Hummer EV itself is already heavy, tipping the scales at over 9,000 pounds...

Time to penalize EVs by weight. In order to quell range anxiety some OEs are focused making bigger batteries rather than more efficient storage solutions and better charging solutions.  The inertia of one of these ‘trucks’ is terrifying - one of the many reasons it shouldn’t be on the road.

Compared to it’s 12mpg predecessor, in terms of CO2 output the Hummer EV is a gigantic leap forward.

Honestly this thing is an affront to a carbon-free/reduced future. It is an abomination. It’s maker(s) should be tarred and feathered.
